erorr404 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Probably your CD drive is messed up or your CD is.
Guest Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 no cause i put in cod2 and that came up..and i just got san andreas today
rockstarrem Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 San Andreas is a DVD-Rom, are you sure you have a DVD-Rom drive?
Guest Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 yeah..but i know 1 thing though, its not the cd..cause it worked on my dads lol but it cant be my DVD ROM cause i can play call of duty and oblivion..oh and also if i keep it in for a while it says its a blank disk.
Georgije Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 well if you're sure you ave a DVD drive and your GTA:SA DVD works on other computers your drive is probably broken. the same thing happened to me a year ago, it was reading and recording CDs properly, but couldn't read DVDs, actually i think i was trying to install GTA:SA at the time too, but that was probably a coincidence. i got it repaired and now it works fine.

Is CoD a DVD or CD? I thought it was a CD...

BTH Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 If you bought GTA recently, you need to get the downgrade patch here.
[TDH]Boss Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Maybe you should purchase a license version?
crazyfurie Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 well I think it could be your video card if it is ATI because i think there is somkind of error??? but I have ati and it installs fine but crashes alot
[TDH]Boss Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 San Andreas was actually developed for nVidia cards. You can see its logo on the startup.
erorr404 Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 hmm mayby u have 2 dowload a no cd crack??? He already solved the problem..
