Tiigangster Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 hello im new ...ok i got mta...and i click mta server,a little black screen pops up and says: Untiteld MTA:SA Server mod:San andreas : race mod 1.1.1 max players:16 ##### server sucessfully started on port 22003 type quit to shut down the server ....ect.....what do i do next..... pls help me get the game started so i can play
Sprinter Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Go into C:\Program Files\MTA San Andreas\ or the place where you installed MTA SA. Double click on the file Multi Theft Auto.exe. And that's it. I think you accidently started a server instead of starting the game.

erorr404 Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 He's talking about GTA:SA, not MTA. There's the original v1.0 and the second edition, MTA only works with 1.0. If you don't have v1.0 then make a backup of your gta-sa.exe and use the downgrade patch (found in the Client Problems forum).

Do you have GTA:SA (the original game)? You get MTA:SA here: http://light.mtavc.com/
