Here is my DM map:

And other weapons before the entrance on both side.

But I doesnt understand this:

Spawnpoints - name nrg500's as spawnpoint 1,2,3 etc.

Health/Armor - name repair pickups health 1,2,3 armor 1,2,3 etc

Weapon Pickups - name nitros as weapon names (numbered... bla bla bla

Vehicle Spawns - renamed with vehicle names.

And here is a tip to all DM maps builder!

Built the map high over land so if a player fall down they will die and not run away so the map never finish!

If you do this over water they will be able to jump down in the water and just swim away so the map never finish!

But if you still want to build over water put fence around the map so they can't fall down!

Nice maps Hedning Spriner. I really like that maze one Hedning. Very original. Great team DM map Sprinter, looks fun. :)

Anyway, here's mine: "Action"

It's a large map near the LS beach. It's caved in and has heaps of deagle spawns (for ye oldy deagle lovers). It has 2 bulletproof cages which people can hide in if someone spawns where the minigun is. It's nearly done.

Oh yeah, I got a bit of a question. I've got some vehicle spawns in my map, would I use a vehicle change to represent a vehicle spawn?

Updated first post. Should provide mappers with a more clear idea of what to do.

Thank you. That helped a lot. The link for the IDs is also appreciated, although it would be nice to be able to see the players skins associated with each ID. :)

One question though. I noticed that in the code you provided, there's no tag for the rotation of the on-foot player spawn points (like ), so that the direction in which a newly spawned player is facing is not explicit. I assume there is such a tag in the maps used and that we should include it in the maps that we submit? Something like this, in the general case:

My first two DM-style maps have been uploaded. To the best of my ability they follow the map syntax suggested earlier for DM maps to be uploaded.

LV Motel Massacre. A DM map based around a motel in Las Venturas. The motel and its surroundings have been improved and surrounded by a fence to ensure that no one gets out alive...

Los Pistoleros. A DM pistol duel going down in the ghost town of Las Brujas in Bone County. Very simple scenario. The players meet in Las Brujas to settle the issue of who is the better gunslinger.

One question though. I've got a few question, can players choose where to spawn or is it random?

Also, I got a weapon spawn without the respawning time (aka, i removed the respawning time info, see below), does this mean the player can only grab this weapon once when he’s alive or does it mean the weapon won't respawn after someone picks it up (until the map changes)?

If you don't provide a respawn time it sets a default value. I would include one though, since I don't know if the converter will understand that.

You can pick up health any time you want (after it respawns).

@ Sprinter:

you have made 20 (player) spawns (10 bells vs 10 burgers) right? but your first 10 spawns belong only to one team and other 10 spawns to another team. that means if there is, like 11 players on a server it will be 10 vs. 1

am I wrong?

lil_toady has provided us with an upload system we will use from now on. Please stop using pastebin and start using this, it should be faster than pastebin and easier for us to manage.

I have received and successfully converted the following maps:

Radioactive by Hedning

Cluckin' Bell vs Burgershot by Sprinter

LV Motel Massacre by major underscore

Los Pistoleros by major underscore

Mad Dogs House by AdnanKananda

Action by Laggy

All these maps mentioned above will not need to be uploaded to the new host. A map from Azu has not been done because the syntax is not up to date.
