ingame chat box font ?

what font is used in the ingame chat box

and can i get some more specifications on it

so far all i know its a non-fixed font - and its hard to read some characters

ive edited a ascii image for the server once

but its very hard to get anything right if you wanna play with (basic) ascii drawings ingame - especcially without being able to alt-tab and without a 2nd screen ..

k .. i know its silly to try and do ascci ingame but still

all i'd like to know is the specification of the ingame font

i like this one cuz it's really schematic and organised i mean on sa-mp the font is quite ****** ** and that disables you from making clear emticons and other things.

but some characters are very different opposed to verdana

the ! looks like a stripe etc

ive not made the topic for a arguement on the font itself

and im really not talking about sa-mp on mta .. so i kinda dont see the use of your post

hmm the folder rockstargames/gta sa/mta/datafiles/fonts says verdana and arial so you are right about some diffrent note's

All GUI text in MTA uses:

"datafiles\\fonts\\verdana.ttf"

for the text font. The chatbox is done using the GUI, so thats what it uses.
