I downloaded that, but haven't done anything because I would like to know a few things before I downgrade my Second Edition San Andreas to 1:

I know I will be able to play Multiplayer with 1, and I will be able to use mods with 1, but are there any known cases where it screwed up a game from downgrading? And are there any risks? Or will the game be the exact same thing except, I will be able to use mods, and use multiplayer? Please reply. Thanks.

All the file does is patch your gta-sa.exe file, so just make a backup of your original in case something goes wrong. That's the only file it changes as far as I know.

It is a downgrade patch, so you'll lose any bug fixes from 2.0 and I'm not sure if your savegames will work (they should).

What about if ive got an install of V1 and use the newest version (now only available) to play it? Without installing it again?

well i downgraded using the patch, and everything went fine, only took a couple of seconds. before i did so i made a backup of my whole GTA: san andreas folder just incase something went wrong. but i wouldn't worry. also the saved games still worked after downgrading (at least for me).
