Guest Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 i have the first original release of san andreas, can play it in single player, have the race mod, don't have the server, have the map editor, and have the newest release of mta:sa, the game loads... BUT IT CRASHES INTO THE BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH!!! (the blue screen of death is a blue screen with white writing saying something along the lines of: "Windows has encountered a serious error... ...needs to perform phisical memory dump." The game then chrashes, along with windows, and any other thing on my computer. then the computer goes to the "american megatrends" screen (the one i see right after i press power on button) Please could someone help, cause mta is so fun for the 10 minutes before it chrashes.
Leviathan Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 don't you get an error reporting-message after the reboot? if you send it to microsoft, somethimes more details of wich hardware piece has caused the crash will be told to you, so you can specify your problem fixing on that part.
MTA Team Blokker_1999 Posted June 18, 2006 MTA Team Posted June 18, 2006 disable the auto rebooting and have a look at what caused the error yourself. Analyze the BSOD and search in the MS knowledge base

stevecam Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 whats your code that comes up on your BSOD, sometimes you can google it and it will come up with something, like a hard drive failure, device conflict, if this number is always changing then it may be time you got a new PC
