LiL Tr1viUm Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Why not give a map editor where you can make the maps so peaple can make some maps so when MTA DM comes out they can play and dont need to make maps first... maybe we can make maps for MTA so ya dont need to do that to;) its a idee:) i would be so happy:D
Si|ent Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 The editor is an integral part of mta so I doubt any kind of standalone version would be released, working on that (if it was even feasable) would just take time away from the main release.

Guest Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Well, in this one 2D game called Soldat people can make their own maps and when you join the game you download the map to yourself.. It makes the folders for that game huge, so I think it would do the same thing for MTA. A whole new map for it, think how big it would be.. And having many of them I think it's still a good idea, and would be fun too. Then you would NEVER get bored with this game.. Which is a good thing.

Is it possible to create the option of having an in-game command you type which makes the server dump the map in a folder inside the MTA folder for example, so that you can put the map on your own server?

If it isn't there then the author doesn't want you to have it so wether you want it or not is pretty irrelevant. This way maps can be kept private if the owner wishes them to be.
