0 MTA Anti-Cheat Team Dutchman101 Posted January 16, 2021 MTA Anti-Cheat Team Share Posted January 16, 2021 From https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Famous_crash_offsets_and_their_meaning: So, the reason for crashes with gta_sa.exe offset 0x000DFE92 and 0x000DFF90 is: bad sound mods. Re-install a clean version of GTA. @Slay 1 Link to comment

Like for example, a corrupted or missing "roadsignfont" texture in particle.txd (which is located in GTA San Andreas\models folder) can cause it. We aren't sure whether or not server mods like that (a server running bad roadsign textures) can also cause players to crash, if their GTA isn't modded. If yours is modded, it's just another example that game stability isn't guaranteed, unless you play with the original unmodded game. It is easier to once again re-install your GTA, instead of spending time to find the problem in ways i described (roadsign mods). if it's not modded, contact the server owner with this information 1 Link to comment

As @Dutchman101 said the game stability isn't guaranteed by using modified files (in your case gta3.img file). So we can't provide you a "reduced" gta3.img file. In order to play it without crashes it would be best to play it with original game files. GTA:SA is not a high demanding game for nowadays PCs and it should run just fine on an average PC if there aren't any super heavy mods installed. If you have low performance on all servers then you should rather consider upgrading your PC than using reduced texture quality mods. 1 Link to comment

0 MTA Anti-Cheat Team Dutchman101 Posted February 3, 2021 MTA Anti-Cheat Team Share Posted February 3, 2021 @SlayUpload your particles.txd file, and i will restore purely the roadsign texture in it to default. Then you can try if it stops the crashes. This is a last effort way to preserve the modded GTA installation you have right now and still play. But as you can see, even if it does, there is no guarantee that other GTA crashes won't appear next. Btw, low FPS issues are easily caused by playing on unoptimized servers - of which there are plenty on MTA. Modded GTA installations that promise better FPS won't really have an impact if the lag you're experiencing is of that nature.. then you can only find other servers to play on, or yes, get a better PC. But i will quote it 1 last time for you, from the page about that crash offset (0x011630FE): This crash is a result of problems with collision models. It might be due to unoptimized collisions that your PC (or MTA's technical limits, due to bad server mods) cannot handle, or due to corrupt collision models. Our first advise would be to ensure that your GTA is unmodded, and otherwise to ask server owner to identify and resolve issues with bad collision models. I feel like it's a better idea for you to play without a heavily modded GTA installation, than to constantly run into crashes and asking for help here. Your mods apparently are making your game very unstable, or unoptimized for your PC specs (e.g this crash could be that). Like others have reminded you of, play without mods for a good and qualitative MTA experience. Link to comment
