finn_bryant
okay, after testing, it seems whenever i press the F2 key (even without a vote) the game crashes and dispears (mistaken about it happening in yes vote) any fix so that i can vote no? Link to comment
Jani
Do you have the F2 key bound to anything else? Link to comment
Si|ent
No screenshot capture app or chat program? Try pressing it out of MTA and see what it is set to do. Link to comment
finn_bryant
no apps in backround (at all, i killed them all) the button does nothing out of game, the snad-timer appered next to my mouse once, but i cant do it again so it seems to have been luck as it does it quite often. This bug is annoying! Link to comment
><CHAIN><
no apps in backround (at all, i killed them all) Even so, do you have an ATI card? Using hotkeys? If so, The ATI Hotkey Poller service may be using F2 for display setting changes. Either change the hotkey assignment or disable the service. Do you have the F2 key bound to anything else? My first comment assumes that ^^ refers to in-game bound keys. Or is your keyboard a multimedia keyboard with special functions for various keys? Just a thought... even though you said you killed all background processes. Something's there! Best of luck Link to comment
><CHAIN><
Remembered this also so worth checking it out... so i right-clicked on the san andreas users files folder in my documents. and saw that it had read-only attribute enabled. so i disabled this. and BAM. problem solved!!!!!!! this not only fixed my controller problem. but this fixed my pressinf f2and game crashes issue, from thelast post in forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?t=15186 Link to comment
