Guest
The server I play on runs the OJ maps all the time and after the first 5 seconds, we lose track of OJ because all the blips on the radar are blue. People stuck at the back of the line can become hopelessly lost. It would really improve the dynamic of those "Me Against The World" maps if makers could designate a certain blip color to OJ or whoever. Team vs. Team maps would also benefit from it. I know that different classes had separate blip colors in MTA:VC, so I hope you can implement something like that in MTA:SA. Also, I know you're working on spectator mode for the DM mod. When we play OJ, sometimes someone will /kill and spec OJ as a dispatcher. We report his position and movement to the other players. This helps them orchestrate roadblocks and take different paths to approach him more quickly. Maybe in DM you could have a selectable spec slot with a different colored chat to help people read the dispatcher. I think it would really add an interesting dynamic in cops vs. robbers maps. Si|ent
I'm more interested in what an OJ map is. I've never heard of them (probably along with most of the forum) From the name I imagine it's a person driving a rancher very slowly followed by people in police cars driving equally slowly? Aeron
OJ Simpson, 1 civilian car, 4358747540935 cop cars, goal: kill OJ. Link to comment

Guest
The OJ maps are up on the RSS feed. Concurred made the best ones, but Xpoc and ribeyejackson's are worth a look. They're a really good example of more objective based race maps, and can be a helluva lot of fun. See also any BluesBros maps and FollowFreeman. Same concept, but different vehicles. All up on the RSS server. I incorrectly assumed that they were well known because I didn't know they originated from the private server I play on. Link to comment
Si|ent
The OJ maps are up on the RSS feed. Unfortunately so are 1746 others (at time of posting) and the good ones tend to be missed or get lost in the flood of inferior or just plain broken ones. It takes someone to point one out for it to have a chance of success or usage beyond servers that download them all. These sound fun, we'll test them out tonight and see if they are suitable for SARL. Link to comment
