Guest Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 my remote client will not connect to my server, (connection timed out). i have forwarded ports on my router and have even tried to connect the remote admin on the server through vnc. i am positive the config file is setup correctly and the server runs flawlessly. any possible ideas would be great. Jani Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 You can't run a server just with an FTP account, you need shell access to run the server, or ask the webhost if they'll do it but I doubt it.
