We should be holding a SOLO event tonight to try out some of the tracks we have created especially for the league, this is a friendly or a warm-up if you will.

It's primarily to give you all a chance to get familiar with the tracks so far and to iron out any organisational problems that may arise, we may score it for fun but it wont count towards the league itself. It isn't fair for potential teething problems to hurt peoples league scores.

If all goes well and the tracks are well recieved we will start the league proper on monday or tuesday of this week.

NOTES: Screenshots of the scoreboard should be taken as soon as someone wins a race, this is to record final positions of all involved for later scoring.

Please try to meet up in irc://irc.multitheftauto.com/SARL between 4 and 5pm (GMT) For server details and other last minute information. We will post the details here too but you will get the information after everyone else (and may miss some entirely) if you don't come to irc.

Ok the solo test went well, there were 5 of us testing out the maps that bump made, it went well and was a good laugh. The server is up at 85.234.136.102:22003 and you're welcome to join when it's not being used for the official races.

I was going to post some screenshots but as takign one pauses the game for a microsecond,and the races were highly competitive, I didn't actually take many whilst racing, only ones of the results for totting up afterwards. (which I willdo shortly)

But here's one of me after i messed up a fast corner and rolled my Sabre - without hitting anything first! - not done that before in SA.

And the results compiled:

The results were as follows:

Mad Boy:  4 wins, 3 seconds, 1 third
Aerial:      2 wins, 2 second, 1 third
Jani:                Unranked

Great fun in all but a real shame more of you couldn't make it.

The maps went down well on the whole (all were custom created for the league bar one) with rockyroad still remainign un-completed in competition - mainly due to everyone else drowning!

Ill try and gather the available emaildetails today, if you don't have your emailaddy publicly available on the forum (I imagine most won't) I'll try and PM you all requesting it.
