Tommy-VercettiX Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 Okay Im Getting a Copy of VC Tomorrow From MY Freind Shaun, He Burned his Copy of VC Using a CD Burner....One Question Will MTA Work With a Burned Copy of VC? and I'm Not Sure if his is a Bought Copy or a Dreaded Warez Copy.... and Will that make a differnece if its a Bought Copy or a Dreaded Warez Copy?? Becuase he said MTA Wouldnt work with his copy, like he couldnt Spawn in Games and such, but he could chat....But i think he maybe Lying!!! Just Help me Please..Okay???
Jani Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 A totally unaltered, copied version of the USA or UK retail version of the game should in theory work fine, although a warez one will not. I don't advise that you do that though, it's illegal.

Jani Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 If it isn't a perfect rip of the UK/USA ISO files, then no. And I doubt he would have spent 3 or 4 hours downloading 2GB+ of files when there's smaller rips out there which work fine, just not with MTA. Bear in mind that the game has been out for well over a year, you're bound to get it really cheap from your local game shop, if not even second hand for like £10 or something. It's better off just buying it.
