orappa Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 I used to have one of those. They're pretty cool, although I sold it and now use laptops instead of PCs because I prefer the portability.
zerb Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 That screen would probably start hurting your eyes after constant hours of infront of a screen that big and probably in the dark also.
l2ebel Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 played vc once on one of these, was pretty cool

paul527 Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Jani, i saw your picture and was wondering, if its yours. Whered ya get it?
Jani Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 It's mine. For ages I was using a single Iiyama Prolite and another Relisys monitor I had, which sucked because they didn't match and the Iiyama was higher than the Relisys, so I bought the exact same Iiyama from ebay and now I have matching monitors.
paul527 Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 cool, so how do i get double monitors with one PC? i got enough to get another monitor, but i dont just wanna split the signal, i want to multi-task with double desktops
Gamefreek Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 You need to either have 2 video cards or a video card that has two ports for monitors..
paul527 Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 oooo i see now, thats how it goes down... thanks d00ds
Jani Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 I got my Radeon 9550 256mb for about £40, it has dual outputs (VGA and DVI) so I can connect 2 monitors at the same time, and then in the advanced graphics setup you just set the physical layout of your monitors (mine are next to each other obviously) and then you can choose how you want it, like extended desktop or cloned output, or seperate monitors. Extended desktop is great for playing games spread across both monitors, but seperate monitors is better because you can run the game on one monitor and use the other one for talking on msn or something.
[UVA]BuLLiT Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 imagine if sunlight managed 2 get on 2 that i would be well pissed lmao
Leviathan Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 I have a monitor splitter. but it doesn't make 2 different screens, you just see the same on each screen, but I've placed it somewhere else in my room so I can watch dvd's from my bed
