Guardians Proper
Google couldn't possibly have an answer?... It's a Windows Exception error. Google could solve this. In fact, I had the c000005 error ages ago and Google said "NO! UtopiA! NO!" and then it gave me the fix. Link: http://www.google.com Link to comment

slush
Make sure you're running the game in ENGLISH (you have to go in regular VC and do this from the menu). -Derek Link to comment
:OutLaW:
...i cant even get into vc, the crash happens as soon as i hit start game or double click gta-vc.exe Link to comment
orappa
It can't be an MTA problem if it occurs in SP then. Try reinstalling GTA and make sure that there are no mods and it is the retail version. Link to comment
Harry
If SP chrashes, there's something wrong with the installation of VC. Check the disk for scratches and dont install any no-cd shit or other mods before trying MTA. Does SP work when MTA has not been installed? IF that doesnt work (anymore) you'd better contact Rockstar support to fix that problem first. If it crashes after installing MTA, you'd better redownload MTA and try again. Good luck.
