Guest
I have two controllers hooked up to my PC and i was wondering if MTA:SA could offer the 2 player CoOp that the Ps2 does. Either on one computer or through two. Link to comment
Mike
You could use it on LAN with two computers, but it will not work on a single computer. Link to comment
derhitman
y dont u play on the PS2 then Link to comment
orappa
You may be able to do this with Blue's modding capabilities, only people will have to show sufficient demand in order for someone to consider it worthwhile to make a mod for it. Link to comment

[VCM]Mafia
If you have two monitors, the right vidio card, and a certian sofware. If your really interested in it, google for "duel monitors". Most vidio cards are not capabile of running two mintors, and even then I am not sure if you can focus to one MTA:SA monitor, and focus to a second MTA:SA on another monitor. Thats all I know...And besides that, I think that DirectX only supports one controller input. Which I think is cheap, it restrics the resources of game developers. Link to comment
Gamefreek
You would probably have to have a really good pc even if 2 people could both play SA on the same PC. Link to comment
Leviathan
On the console you allso play on just 1 screen... With splitscreen, so why need 2 monitors? Link to comment

Im running such a setup atm and my SA askes which of the screens has to be used for SA. Controlling 2 SA's will be another story, becasue they cant have focus both at the same time. With that, 2 games would require a huge amount of CPU and GFX power. So i guess it will never be possible this way. Link to comment
Leviathan
indeed, I think it would be worth playing with 512mb video card (that's 2x256) Link to comment
orappa
What about a dual CPU or dual core system with two SLI cards? Link to comment
Harry
You still cant focus 2 screens Link to comment
[VCM]Mafia
Unless you modify the windows operating system But I fear that you would have to somehow modify the DLL's of the Operating System -- (probally the kernal) nearly imposible Link to comment
Leviathan
ofcourse it is possible to use two screens, but only with low end programs Link to comment
orappa
Could you not have a standalone application that accepts input from both sources and forwards them to their relevant applications, or is that not possible? Link to comment
[VCM]Mafia
Hmn, that would mean I could play low leven (n stil fun!) games like Twisted Metal What exatly would you need to do it? I already have two monitors. I am assuming you need a special vidio card, correct? Link to comment
Gamefreek
Well i doubt there are any programs out there that would allow it to work. You still would need Windows to keep focus on both games at the same time which i doubt it possible. Link to comment
Leviathan
I managed it to play a game through lan with only 1 cd when 2 needed, I just loaded the whole thing through the lan connection, It wasn't veary fast like normal, but it was fun. Link to comment
Replicators
Why not just get 2 pc's? And use a mouse and keyboard,it's better control! Link to comment
Evo
..You would need 2 PC's, Nvidia already released that its imposible to work 2 game pads into San Andreas, functioning at the same time, If you have 2 game pads, plug them in, run San Andreas, and only one will work. As for Sa-2p 9. Can SA2P support two players on the same computer? No, SA2P is for playing over a LAN or the internet. It can't be used for playing on the same computer. But why would you want 2 player on 1 computer? [Pc=Personal Computer] Just get Sa-2p, or MTASA, or Sa-Mp[holy sh*t alot of acronyms] and hook up with your online girlfriend there, that way she wont have to come to your house and disapoint you when she wont let your character run into hers very fast. Holy shiznet Sa-2p sounds dope, with peds and story mode. I can't wait, that should hold me untill a San Andreas multiplayer with more people comes out. Link to comment
