  1. After thinking about it, I think it's not a good idea to make the "change weapon in vehicle" keys the same by default, as you have on foot. As most of the player use their mouse scroll to switch weapons on foot, it would just mix up with the radio when you're in a vehicle.
  2. Yes, I can also confirm this bug. As mentioned, it happens every now and then, when you aim your weapon in certain angles. And I guess it happens with every skin and weapon.

  4. That's just great news, because currently players seem to face major performance hits with some specific scripts and resources. Of course this could happen just because of unoptimized scripts, who knows... Great news anyway!

  6. Thanks for the hint eXo|Mr.Hankey, I tested it out and it works like a charm. But as I mentioned, I really think this should be a default feature of MTA:SA, as some of the players don't know this bind trick. And as everybody doesn't know this, it can bring advantage over other players on servers. By default this could use the same keys as which you use to switch weapons on foot. While I tested this, I discovered a bug related to the driveby weapons. Seems that you have to have some original driveby weapon (e.g. SMG) in your inventory in order to be able to driveby with any weapon. If you just have a Colt for example, you can't use it for driveby until you get one of the original driveby weapons. Would it be possible to fix this?
  7. Ah thanks, have to try it out. I suppose I can use the same keys as which are being used when switching weapons on foot? Anyway, hopefully this action will be there by default in future releases .
  8. Most of you probably know that in MTA:SA it's possible to driveby almost with any weapon, even as a driver. But if you want to get out from the driveby mode, it requires you to exit the vehicle and re-enter with no weapons in your hand. I would like to suggest an idea that you could switch weapons inside the vehicle. This way you could switch weapons without getting out of the vehicle and use driveby mode only when needed.
  9. Ok, guess I have to try it again. Maybe there's something that I've missed. EDIT: Yeah, I checked it out and it seems that you can sort also vehicle and weapon lists in alphabetic order, just need to click the empty space above the list.
  10. Well at the moment you only have the option to sort the player list in alphabetical order, but not the weapon and vehicle lists. I don't personally find any logic in the current sorting orders of the weapon and vehicle list. They might be useful only after spending hours and hours on studying the lists and remembering them out from your mind. Instead, if they were in alphabetical order it would be easy to find the correct item for any admin, new and old ones. That is true, but it requires you to sort the list again from time to time, as when new players join the server the admin panel doesn't sort them in alphabetic order automatically and you have to keep clicking the button at the top all the time.
  11. Yeah, but there's one big problem with the Map Editor. You aren't able to view multiple objects while searching, and when you close the object window and try to continue the search, it starts the search all the way from the beginning. A pretty annoying bug/feature in my opinion. If anybody is in touch with the developer of mED, please pass this report to him. Thank you!

    Well yea, as you mentioned there is a slight difference, but it's still very hard to notice. So I just wonder if it's possible to make the difference better noticable.

    I am not actually sure if this bug depends on some specific resourse, but I'll post it here anyway. As many of you know, on some servers (mostly RPG) it's possible to turn the lights of your vehicle on/off, usually with the "L" key. This function seems to use the vehicle brake lights as the normal tail lights. So when you brake, the driver behind cannot see you braking and might crash to you. I was just wondering if it was possible to set the brightness of the tail lights lower, so there would be a clear difference between the tail and braking lights.
  15. Thanks for the information lil Toady, I'm sure such kind of feature will be very handy. Anyway since my first post, I've figured out one more suggestion. Player, vehicle and weapon lists in alphabetical order I know that it is possible to set the playerlist into alphabetical order now already, but I think it should be in alphabetical order by default so you could find a specific player immidiately. The weapon and vehicle lists should be in alphabetical order also, as it now takes pretty long to find exactly the weapon or vehicle that you want to spawn.
  16. Yeah, isn't it boring to stand at traffic lights in real life too? At least in San Andreas the lights change a bit faster .

  18. I think it would be good to make server admins possible to switch between windowed mode without disconnecting. From time to time we have to manage other stuff like TeamSpeak admining, so it's a bit frustrating to disconnect every time from MTA:SA.
  19. Yeah I agree with you. But the problem at the moment is, that there doesn't seem to be any kind of ID system for players. So you would probably have to type /kick , which also takes alot of time. The admin panel features are good if you are spectating for example and going through the players.
  20. On RPG servers people wouldn't drive like complete idiots, at least if they have good roleplaying skills. And on RPG server breaking the laws is always risky. If a cops sees you passing a red light, you will get punished...
  21. Hi, I forgot to mention the bugs with the spectator system implemented in the admin panel. Sometimes when you try to spectate some player, it just shows yourself in the screen and not the actual player. Also would be handy to get "Shout!" as one of the "fast action" buttons in the right side of the spectation mode.
  22. Thanks for your response. You could also make some optinos behind the "Ban" button. Like when you click it, the admin panel would ask you wheter you like to give an IP ban or a serial ban. This way also the player name could be written for the serial bans list, right?

  24. Hi lil Toady, Biggest thanks for your response! it cleared up the situation alot, though I still have something to ask... Those probably someday will be there Hopefully soon, as I believe those are one of the most wanted improvements for the admin panel at the moment. I have no access to mouse sensivity to give options for it, it's speed is just the same as anywhere, well it's probably scriptable to make it faster but probably won't look as smooth, ill have a look Yeah, well I just noticed that the mouse doesn't seem to be as smooth/sensitive as in Windows desktop and that is causing some trouble, if you need to click the admin panel buttons quickly. It's not there cause as you might have noticed there's no place for it. Reason is in ban details though Oh yeah, sorry. I forgot that the ban reason is visible in the ban details, so it's not a big problem then
  25. Hello, I've noticed that the info isn't displayed correctly in the ban list page of the admin panel. For serial bans it doesn't display the player name. For IP bans it only displays the IP.
