This is what you do, go to Control Panel>System>>Advanced>Perfor4mance Settings>Advanced>Change Set Initial Size to 3000MB Set Maximum Size to 4000MB This changes the HD Pagefiling, and iwll take about 4 gb, but my FPS jumped from 10 up to a constant 35. I run on 800X600X16 with Medium Settings, and a couple points of Draw Distance. It runs good, and doesn't look half bad. I tweaked with the GFX and my PC settings, and got more FPS. I just installed SA and played it. It works and looks really good at 1024x768x16. If I put it on 32, it gets choppy, but it looks impressive on 1024.768 compared to the PS2. What does antialiasing do?

On the subject of races, the TransFenders and street racing shops, and lowrider shops should work, and be syncd. That way, you can make your car different from everyone else's, have competitions, street racing so us Cops can smash up your rides and stuff . Also have the towtruck so cops can impound, and make a game mode of taking cars from the impound without getting caught by the police. Wow, lots of ideas rolling off my head.

Yea we call dibs on SASP San Andreas State Police. And you expect competition? We are mainly an RPG clan, patroling streets, fighting crime. Thats just what we like doing, rather than DMing and having matches and competitions.

Actually, on alot of the newer laptops, you can take out the Video Card and put in a better one. But you got to worry about taking it apart right and making sure everything is right when it getsput back together. You also want to make sure you dont pull any of the data plugs out of the motherboard, because some cables cant be put back in. A 64MB card should be fine, alot of games only use 64MB of vid ram anyway.

My computer is a P4 2.4, with 768MB RAM. This computer smokes Vice City, but in SA, im worried about the way my Vid Card will perform, GeForce 4 MX440, except this one has Dual VGA ports for Two Monitors. The single VGA is $60 at wallmart. 64MB per monitor, whether both are plugged in or not. Im sure it will be fine, if SA can run on 256MB Ram compared to 768 lo.

God I love the wway SA looks on the PC, what specs you have cuz im worried about my video card. My computer should be fine, except I need to buy a DVD Rom drive :-/ . P4 2.4GHZ 768MB PC2700 Getting a 16x DVR Rom drive But my GFX card is what im worried about: GForce 4 MX400 Dual VGA(the single VGA port is about $60 at WallMart). 64MB Per Monitor, whether both are hooked up or not. How would you say SA will perform on this computer? Im not expecting full blast detail, im sure it will work OK, but I just want to know if it would be good enough that its playable. I would use my other GFX card, but this computer doesnt have an AGP port.

i said this should only be Police Vehicles, which should be used by police only . And I dont really care about other cars, other than to make a bunch, and pick all kinds, not make them all turismos(even though thats my favorate car).

One thing is that when playing RPG, you want to be real as possible. In real life, you dont have a crosshair etched into your eyeballs so you can aim. Besides, you can probably do download one.

Well, you can have it back. Apparently, no one I know can keep a stable clan. And Billy, if you are who I think you are, you hacked into Diaz's computer and kept banning people from the server, and you threatened to hack me, leno, and everyone else. Besides, its an RPG server, and I dont think that any of us really like any of VCL. As I said, GTAP is done, and im making an RPG clan/server. Now, there are some rules that allow killing, like being a police officer(having a real reason, not to say ur a cop and can do what u want), being diplimatic immunity(level 5 admin, only me), and hitmen. But you have to be hired, and have proof(in other words, me goin through the chat log, cuz admins can see PM's in the script).

Well, me and some friends have been gathering ideas for SASP San Andreas State Police clan. And we would like to give an idea of what we want outof the police portion of MTASA. 1- Make the police officers spawn at any one of the police stations in the main cities. 2- At each police station, put a numerous amount of cars, since there will need to be a bunch of cops to patrol san andreas's size. We also request swat vehicles, FBI vehicles, and a helicopter or 2 at each station. 3- Have the police cars match the sity, like LSPD in Los Santos and such. These are jsut requests from SASP. We would appreciate if you took these ideas and pout them into SA, because these ideas would help out the Police clans well.

those of you with SA should post some screenshots that you took. Would be cool, maybe if youve found something different from PS2.

VCPD went down the toilet, so we started our own GTAP. here it is: http://grand-theft-auto-police.cjb.net/ On our server, we play RPG, so we don't allow DMing. We are a Police Clan, and we allow all spawns when you're not on duty.

I noticed something about the cars in MTA VC. For example, in a RPG server, you buy a car and a house or something like that. You take that car to your house, get out, set the alarm, and suddenly the game crashes. You go back in, you have to go to where the car is and bring it back to your house. The real pain is when you buy 2 or more. What im trying to get at is to fix it to where cars wont leave the spot u put them in. So that way, you can park your car at your house, crash, come back and it still be at your house. That way, you dont spend a bunch of time rounding up your cars so no one drives them around. I just think that this should be fixed, or make it a optional script or code or soemthing for servers. Post your thoughts on this.

Wow, those requirements are lower than I thought. But, I don't have a DVD Rom Drive on my computer, so I'm gonna stock up on RAM with my laptop and get SA for it. My laptop meets everything but RAM(192MB ). And I guess it would be better if I got teh screen first, getting it soon tho.

Yea, could you make VCCD's head quarters in the hatian's base in Haiti? The one next to the dump that you have to blow up in one of the missions. Its next to the dump, there those two little paths cross.

I think the warrenty expired or however you word that. Yea, i guess ebay will work, just get a screen as an early birthday present. But my parents will forget about that, so i'll still get somthing lol. I think i'll get some more ram for it before I put vice city on it.

New laptop that I got today. Traded a guitar and a punching bag for it. Pretty nice, but apparently from the picture it has a broken screen. So, I hooked up one of my LCD's to it for now until I buy a new screen.
