If you are talking about VC yes, one package will disappear if you use cheats. There is no way of getting it back either, you have to start over. SO DONT CHEAT!!!

There are some problems with stting MTA up over a lan. It lags a bit too. Just wait till 3.5.

OK They have posted in the forums many times on how to join games. There is really no cheat protection and what you experienced is how the game runs so far. Keep in mind its a beta release. There IS a search function for the forums. Look and you shall see.

Most of these ideas have already been posted. They are thinking about making the client in-game.

This isn't the place to ask about other mods. There is a section for that.
