If you look at previous MTA versions and even VC-MP, you'll see that car jerkiness is always present, even when foot sync is smooth. You can't judge how foot sync will be based on what the car sync looks like. They do plan to reduce car jerkiness in the future:

I experience some degree of jerkiness even with people who have low ping.

Foot sync will be added in the future, it's not in the current verison.

So your solution is for a certain amount of players to have to request a vote without seeing eachothers votes in order to make a vote possible? I don't think it'd do anything to solve the problem, as there can be a lot of childish players doing skip votes just as they do change votes now. And what's the point in having a seperate skip race vote when it can be a regular change race vote? They are both used for the same ultimate purpose.. to start a new race.

1. This has been brought up in another thread and there are many problems with it: What if you and friend or two are alone on a server and want to play a particular map, but you're forced to finish the current map? What if there are lot's of dead players on the server, and two players in the race/deathmatch are idle, or purposely not completing the race/not dying? What if the map that starts is one that the vast majority of players don't like and they are willing to vote for a new one? What if the race that the server randomly selects is 10 minutes long!? Too much voting is a problem for sure, but only being able to change the map at the end of a race would cause many more. I really don't see a perfect solution for this, but I imagine a good one would have to do with either restrictions on how often players can vote, or an editor-definable time limit for actual races (not just deathmatches). 2. Looks this might be implemented: 3. I definately want to see that in there, but I doubt this will be high on the priority list as it may be too much work.

Thanks for the compliments, ive put alot of work into this one. Yea the bike part i just forgot to remove the extra nitros along the way, but no big deal. One thing i need to learn is how to just merge the checkpoint with the spawning vehicle pickup as i have seen on a few servers. Yea and the last part i wanted something that really puts the player in a bad position, i could just imagine if more then one car was flying down that, it would create some nice collisions lol. I will probably update it and add a new area, and fix the spawners, and make some extra fixes, as i did find one hole near the end. To make a vehicle change cp, select a checkpoint, press F3, and select 'Set vehicle-change vehicle.' Looking forward to playing that new area.

Cool map. There should be some more safeguards for the SWAT car in the big fall after cp 2, and a safeguard for the Faggio after cp 6 in that huge fall onto the road. edit: it censored the word F a g g i o, lol

Wow awesome, the best concept race I've seen yet.. brilliant. Two suggestions: bikes can't use nitro so those pickups are useless, and very harsh fall at the end with the Infernus (I died on cp 49-54!).

Deathmatch will probably accompany some other simple games modes like teams, ctf, etc., not to mention that virtually any game mode will be possibly once the SDK is out.

I just tested it out, it could use some improvements. Things I've noticed right away: monster change pickups are avoidable - use vehicle change checkpoints instead of pickups (select checkpoint and press F3) poor checkpoint placement - they're spaced too far apart and it's hard to tell where to go

No.. because that would totally defeat the purpose (read my first paragraph). In that case this idea would be much more practical, but will deathmatch maps like Destruction Derby have respawn?

Vote ratio is defined by the server's configuration file, by default it's at 80%.
