1.0 won't work for some odd reason. It'll go into GTA, i hit start game, start multi theft auto... it'll load and RIGHT b4 it's done... it comes up with an error.... how do u fix that? It's an un handled error. Unhandled Exception: c0000005 At Address: 004e006c How do u fix that?

Wasn't there supposed to be different colored dots in the radar depending on what type you are? All I see is yellow and purple (the difference i still don't know b/c i'ts random) but I do'nt see the other colors. What did I do wrong or is it just not made? Working with VC 0.4.1 here.

Jeez i'm hearing a whole lotta stuff about these clans, i'm glad I joined a good one (not disclosing a name). I've been in servers and heard ppl cry about how i'm doing this or that. I once killed the admin and he banned me (as he does anyone that can take him). It's really ridiculous I think. I think I should enact what KOS does in Counter-Strike, they give a ban for 1 day for some stuff.

I have one problem with that video... It was awesome and hte music was sweet! But you should goto Video Options and turn off the frame limit.. it'd get ridda the laggy look to it, making it more professional. I took off the frame limit and it makes the game so much faster (yet old computers shouldn't use it). It was a great movie and now i'm seeing about GTA3, but i may wait and hope u do GTA: S.A. (San Andreas) you guys are going to.... right?

Hey MTA team, I love 0.4 (and bump... i love the documentation). But... I have found errors within 5 minutes lol. Spectator mode: 1. Needs alotta debugging (sorry). 2. When you first pick spectator your sitting ona sliver of land by a Sabre, you go back to char select screen and it says no one is there to watch, if you choose again, it works. 3. The first time I hit the right arrow (to switch chars) the game froze. 4. I was watching someone drive behind the car lot and i switched camera modes... then I saw my character falling through the level... odd ain't it. Playing Deathmatch: 1. Cars getting stuck in the level?... is there a way to fix taht? 2. not a glitch, but can the 6 shot or 3 shot, shottise... can ONE of them not knock u down? lol or if ur so far away it won't? 3. As soon as I started playing 0.4 it crashed all the time... then slowly got out of all taht... i don't know why or how.. but it's true. Not... sure of anything else, but spec mode is really glitched, I still like 0.4, nice job team!

Hey I don't mind, now u can pick which one u want or they CAN join forces that is a good idea, 2 is always better then one!

I have a suggestion, get rid of the comdlg32.ocx error lol. I think that's the only prob a few of us are having lol. And try to bind where u have to hit CTRL and the button u wnat in order for it to show up, so u have full acess to the keyboard AND access to what u want to show

Yeah, use the API instead of the OCX. The DLL comes with Windows so nothing needs to be registered. Also, I think it uses less memory as well. It comes with Windows? I have XP and it's not on my harddrive lol. Got a download? (Shrugs) it's be nice to have the commands, when ur driving u can't type and drive so having a quick button would be nice Well I downloaded the ocx AND the dll and put it in the windows\system directory. Tried the program again... same error, tried to Regsrv or w/e lol the file but the DLLREgister server has a problem or something of the sort >.< if u need the dll and/or ocx it's here http://www.dll-files.com/cgi-bin/cgiwra ... lg32.zip==\ O....k I found the file that was originally in windows... It's in windows\system32, so I copied and pasted it to windows\system. Still no go, still the same error. What to do... what to do!!!? lol

Well I got the ocx.... but "Regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\comdlg32.ocx" isn't registering. I get an error whenever I try: "c:\windows\system32\comdlg32x.ocx" is not an executable file and no registration helper is registered for this file type. >.< now what lol.

Aight I downloaded it, unzipped it, tried to open it and.... "Component 'comdlg32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" Windows XP SP1 I have no idea what this is talking about lol.

Dr .Phill in the MTA official server (10 slot). Seemed to buzz around the level fast with nothing interuptting him, not roads, fences, buildings, water, bridges... seemed to be like "no clip". Then he got a hunter and destroyed anyone (even hiding behind things like signs). The hunter couldn't be destroyed either and a few of us reallllly hit it.

You know to stop lag you should ask http://counter-strike.net what they did, they may not really care but it's worth a shot. One day I was bored and read the history, and I remember that in it they said how they drastically reduced lag. Kind of important in shooter games lol. Right now I have to wait for someone to stop in order to even try to hit them. You may also wanna ask http://gunbound.net how they got the NSecure system. You need a way to see if programs are opening with MTA, like if it opens with a hack or something, it'll kick u, warn u, and ban u if excessive lol. I've stopped playing MTA b/c of the amount of cheaters, and how I can't kill unless they stand still lol. (This is on the official MTA server's btw). That's why if I do play, i'm only the driver lol. I put in my two cents, lata ^.^

Aight lets try another one. May 13th around 12ish (midnight...) name.... BleednKuntz.... his car flew, his health never moved, and he uses teh cheapest tactic of throwing moltovs to burn u down.... that is one cheap weapon. we do'nt have a rocket launcher (i do'nt htink) but we have this...

On the official MTA server with 18 max players, around 12-2 am (eastern time) may 12th a player named "Owned?" was playing... for those 2 hours he never died and people hit him with cars, choppers, shotties, rifles... u name it... and he "killed himself" but he never died by our hands, we had 3v1 and he killed all 3 of us, and his health never moved... As I left the game I warned him I was going to report him... he told me he's unbannable... can we change this? Thanks, I also thought I saw another cheater when I ran him over 10 timse and his health never moved... Poyen was the name, joined around 2am... but then i shot him and the bar moved... then he killed me with 2 shots, but that's another post. Thanks guys and girls.

OMG DUDE YOU ARE GOD!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! The MOTD has what? And I don't have mIRC right now... There's like no purpose anymore, a few things have it but no one is never on... but if it happens again i'll get it.. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

He cheated? Ha, didn't know that. Well I didn't cheat man. Maybe he did but i'm not like that. You can let me back on there and watch me for a year and see I don't cheat, and if he IS cheating then to the heck with that, I don't need cheaters, I jsut want fun. May I please be put back on? It's like the only server that I can trust that does'nt have any cheaters, I go onto other servers and just sit in awe at how fast they run, teleport, dodge my everyshot, etc. In the official server everyone was equal, there was no cheaters, there was no hackers, it was all just... equal and fun... Like I said if he cheated then i'll drop that tag (I already did) and forget about all that, I just... ugh... You gotta beleve me man, check what loads when I enter the server, nothign loads up, no programs, nothing. Please? lol. And I LIKE the idea of having an e-mail, I don't wanna bother all you, I just wanna sort this out with the admin, i'll do the time for the crime but when I didn't do anything... ya know?

It was jsut lastnight about 2am, I tried to get on but my name was taken (Akira) so I put on a tag that i was supposed to have in [CEIA]Akira, I did that but like... Tools, Set name (in All Seeing Eye). Then I tried to go back on so I can play, and it said "Disconnected: You are banned from this server" and a message b4 that said "Cheating Bastards"... but I do'nt use any cheats or even know where the heck to get them, i jsut started like 32 hours ago!. I dunno what to do, or what I did to be banned from both... But I do'nt cheat nor have I ever on anygame... help? lol.

How do you notify the admin, is there a way to get the e-mail address or something? And it's the 2 main MTA servers lol. the MTA official servers.

Hi this is probably stupid... but hopefully the server will see it... 69.93.207.148 I don't know why... but outta nowhere I was banned. I tried to connect and the name was taken, so I put on the tag for a clan I was supposed to have on... then it came up that i'm banned, from that one (with 18 slots) and the other (with 10)... I don't cheat yet it said I did.... I just started today lol. My scores are usually like 1 or 2 if i'm lucky... i mean... what the heck... why did I get banned outta nowhere... and how do I contact the server ( i think it's the main MTA servers) about this? B/c I did'nt do anything I swear to god, life, love, etc.

I can't edit... anyway now i'm getting a mta_dll.dll can't be located... ughhhh

Um... I finally got MTA and all that and followed the tutorial... then I try to go into a game and the bar is aboutttt 98% done and it "boops" at me... (makes an error pop-up noise) saying that the gta-vc.exe has encountered a problem.... I'm using Windows XP and it's a brand new computer lol... Uhh... I dunno what the problem is, any of u know?
