  1. You seem to be missing DirectX SDK. Make sure you have installed all the needed packages before compiling. List of needed packages: https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Compiling_MTASA
  2. It's not really a secret. We use phpBB3.

    MTA Rumors: Debunked!

Re 2: lil_Toady is definitely not wrong. If he was, then everyone else on the MTA Team would be wrong as well, as the general opinion on this is the same. Please take a note that I am talking about 'here and now', and not about the past. Our stance on this issue is simple - we will not disrupt any third parties who want to improve our mod's old versions or port the current MTASA codebase to older GTA games (as long as they abide by the corresponding mod's license), but do not expect us to provide any support to them whatsoever. This is due to our commitment to the MTA:SA line, which does not leave us time for other mods. Regarding 3, I don't think we are secretive about our history. It might not be exposed well enough on our website now, but it is available publicly on the wiki. As for MTA vs SA-MP, no need to bring that up again. Also, please refrain from making unnecessary quotes (see forum rules - general advices). Thanks.
  5. Make sure that you have copied the right files to your fastdl account. Also, make sure that they are up-to-date with the resources you have on your server - every time you add a new resource or modify an existing one, you should update the files on your fastdl account as well. https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Ser ... web_server
  6. Wystarczy założyć folder [mapydd] wewnątrz katalogu mods/deathmatch/resources/ i tam wgrać swoje mapy.
  7. Można do folderu mods/deathmatch/resources (lub mods/deathmatch/resources/[jakiswlasnyfolder] aby można było je prościej potem znaleźć).
  8. You need to install libncursesw5. You can find instructions below (for debian 64bit). However if you have 32bit debian, all you need to do is to type apt-get install libncursesw5 as root. If you are still missing other libraries after doing so, also check out the topic below to see, how you can find the needed packages. viewtopic.php?f=106&t=35328
  9. Yes, but you don't copy it to your webserver from /resources, but from that /resource-cache/http-client-files directory.

  11. Not really, that is a fix for potential DDoSing sources, not targets.
  12. I had a similar issue in the past - you might want to check if you have your 'User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode' option enabled. Not sure how is it called in German, but you can find some instructions on how to change it here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/libr ... 9691(WS.10).aspx#BKMK_S1 ("To disable Admin Approval Mode" section; note that you need to have it enabled for the MTA UAC thing to work correctly).
  13. Working!! is pretty good, so is When They Cry (Higurashi).
  14. If you think that he abused his moderator powers, feel free to contact me or ryden by PM. Make sure to include details as to what in your opinion he did wrong.
  15. Our next major version, Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas 1.3 has been in the RC stage for over two weeks, and today we are ready to announce its stable release. Major highlights of this release: fixes for various network problems which occured in 1.1 and 1.2 series (including a fix for "Map download breaking often on large transfers" issue) added new scripting functions for removal of default GTASA map objects (including breakable ones) introduced a new scripting event - onClientVehicleCollision implemented a new scripting function - takePlayerScreenShot fixes for various crashes and issues (including "warp glitch", inaccurate heat seekers sync, createProjectile() velocity desync between clients, custom models texture crash, "white models" when using custom models and more) added functionality to protect client-side scripts which pre-compiles them before being sent and stops resources from being saved on disk. This is configurable in the resource's meta.xml. added pixel manipulation functionality introduced new client-side scripting functions - setBirdsEnabled and getBirdsEnabled included a new gui skin - Lighter black - contributed by Aibo You can find other changes here and there (from r3551 upwards). As usual, you can download it from our main page. Updated Linux server files are also available. Take care. -- MTA Team
  16. Oh look, it seems they have noticed and 'fixed' it now. Banned and removed other posts
  17. Basically, if your problem exists in GTA:SA single player already, it does not have much to do with MTA. I would guess it is a driver issue, as HD7970 is a fairly recent card. You might have to wait for an official stable driver for that card, as it might fix this issue. In the mean time, you should play with your framelimiter enabled. Since you have a recent Intel CPU, you might want to also give this a try - viewtopic.php?f=104&t=31745
  18. You might want to check, if your problem exists on all major MTA:SA versions (1.0.5 / 1.1.1 / 1.2 / 1.3RC). You can find them here: http://files.mtasa.com/apps/

    Hello.

Hi, you should start by reading our wiki article. All is explained there. https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Scr ... troduction
  20. Duplicate thread. Please keep the discussion in this one: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=39068
  21. Do not mind the wrong version image - will be corrected tomorrow Fixed.
  22. Hi there and welcome to year 2012! Today we are going to give you a heads-up on the upcoming Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas 1.3 release. It is rather unusual for us to publish our major releases so often, however this is something we can not really avoid this time. After 1.2's release we have learned about some problems within our network layer, which can affect the gameplay (eg. problems with map loading, connection timeouts). We wanted to fix them as soon as possible in a point release, but those fixes will unfortunately also break the compatibility with the current MTA:SA 1.2 series. Therefore we can not just make a maintenance bugfix release for 1.2, and have to move straight to 1.3. This will mean that all existing 1.2 players and server owners will have to update their clients and servers to the new release, and it will be incompatible with older clients (1.2 and below). Unfortunately, we are not sure right now whether these network fixes work correctly, so we would like you to help us test them before we make the final 1.3 release. You can do that by upgrading your 1.2 clients and servers to the 1.3 release candidate, and report any bugs on our bugtracker. It is fully compatible with your current 1.2 resources though, so all you should need to do is swap the server binaries with the newer ones, or install the new client build. You can download the Release Candidate for MTA:SA 1.3 Client & Windows server here: https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/ And if you are looking for a Release Candidate of MTA:SA 1.3 Linux server, you can find it here: http://linux.multitheftauto.com/ We intend to keep 1.3 in the RC stage until we are sure that the network issues discovered in 1.2 are fixed. Aside from network fixes, the next release will also contain the previously mentioned functions for removing default objects from the GTASA map (now also buffed with the possibility of removing breakable objects from the map), a new scripting event - onClientVehicleCollision ( ), as well as all fixes and improvements made to MTA:SA 1.2 since its release (from r3551 upwards). We understand that transitioning to the next major release is not a simple task for both players and server owners and hosters, however this is something we did not predict to happen. We will do our best to avoid similar situations in the future and go back to our standard release cycle. We hope for your understanding. -- MTA Team
