  1. At the moment, I’m using out-of-process COM to communicate with the 32-bit DLL. I’ve also tried other IPC approaches, but neither has delivered the performance I need. I’m experiencing reduced network performance and noticeable lag. A native x64 version would be a huge help. Any information about its availability or advice on a more efficient way to work with the existing DLL would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  2. Hi everyone, Does anyone have the 64-bit (x64) version of netc.dll for MTA and does it even exists? Is a blocker for my project to fully enable GTA - SA Definitive edition for MTA. All help is appreciated. Thanks for your help!
  3. GTA San Andreas: Definitive Edition – MTA Adapter | Looking for Testers! Hey everyone! It's been a while since I last played GTA: San Andreas, but recently I got the urge to jump back into it. This time, I wanted to experience the game through GTA: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition while still enjoying the multiplayer experience that MTA offers. Because of that, I've been working on an MTA adapter for GTA: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition, and I'm happy to say that the project is now approximately 98% complete! The adapter is already working with both the original GTA: San Andreas (Classic) and GTA: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition (DE). At this stage, I'm looking for people from the MTA community who would be interested in helping me test it, identify bugs, and provide feedback before I consider it ready for a wider release. How does it work? The adapter is designed to make MTA work with GTA: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition while maintaining compatibility with the classic version of the game. However, there are a few important things to understand: You cannot join existing public MTA servers yet. This is because those servers are running the standard MTA server software and do not have the necessary server-side modifications required by my adapter. A custom build is required. You will need to use the modified MTA build available through my GitHub rather than the standard MTA installation. Both game versions are supported by the adapter. My current implementation works with Classic GTA: San Andreas as well as the Definitive Edition, although more testing is needed to verify functionality and stability across different scenarios. Who am I looking for? I'm primarily looking for people who are interested in testing and helping improve the project. Ideally, you should: Have GTA: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition available for testing. Have some experience with MTA, especially its resources, scripting, or server configuration. Be willing to test as many features and scenarios as possible. Be able to report bugs, crashes, unexpected behavior, or compatibility issues. Have at least some basic debugging knowledge, such as checking logs, identifying errors, and explaining how to reproduce an issue. You don't need to be an expert developer, but having some technical knowledge would make the testing process much more productive. Server owners are especially welcome! If you own or manage an MTA server and would like to help test the adapter, I'd be particularly interested in working with you. Since existing MTA servers do not currently include the required server-side code, we would need to set up a compatible testing environment. This would be a great opportunity to test existing resources, scripts, and multiplayer functionality to see what works, what doesn't, and what still needs improvement. If enough people are interested, I can also host a remote testing server so that everyone can connect and participate without needing to set up their own server. What needs to be tested? Although the adapter is almost complete, I want to make sure it is as stable and functional as possible. I'm especially interested in testing: Player connections and disconnections. Player and vehicle synchronization. Vehicle spawning, handling, and interactions. Player movement, animations, and general gameplay. Existing MTA resources and scripts. Server-side and client-side events. Custom objects, maps, and other MTA features. General compatibility between Classic GTA and Definitive Edition. Performance, stability, and potential crashes. Ideally, I'd like testers to explore as many MTA features as possible, including unusual situations that might reveal issues I haven't encountered during development. How can you help? If you're interested in participating, let me know! It would be helpful if you could mention whether you own an MTA server, have experience with scripting or debugging, and which version of GTA: San Andreas you can test. I'll provide the necessary information regarding the custom GitHub build and how to get started. This started as a personal project because I wanted to enjoy GTA: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition with MTA, but I figured other people in the community might be interested in it as well. The main development work is nearly finished, and now I need some help putting everything through proper testing. I don't want to rush a release without knowing how well everything works in different environments, especially with existing MTA resources and multiplayer features. If you're interested in helping test, debugging, or contributing to the project, feel free to reply here or reach out to me. Any feedback, testing, or technical assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, everyone! Looking forward to seeing what we can achieve with MTA and GTA: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition!
