This type of thing is bullshit First chance I or anyone who has power to do anything about this gets Drake and Eclipse will go to admin level 1 for the month of April. "We" don't own the server [KFC]Nutz does and he trusts KFC to admin it... People who abuse that trust lose the rights. This type of thing only hurts the server... a good player is kicked/banned and 2 admin can't ban anymore... that's an extra open slot for the cheaters and two less admin to ban the cheaters. The 0.3 server in my sig only has one ingame admin at a time so luckily it doesn't happen there [/shameless ad]

If you would I will make an Aeron shrine in my home and pray to it daily. The main problem I am having (aside from having less than no scripting knowledge) is that the admin pm feature is built into all of the scripts I have tried to adapt. It seems like all Admin +, admin pm etc... functions will not work with this MTAMA version I think all I need to use is the admin functions ingame, stats and other nickserv features and challenge script.

I have that working now, thanks It's not exactly the same one but it's Aeron's from this forum Oli thinks he has an old GRS that works with that version... if so we are all set... Right now we have 15/26 players playing 0.3 mostly at robber... great time

I know admin + is out Is it possible to use the newer stuff on the old server? What stuff would I have to replace from a current script? Will On Signal work with the old MTAMA? thanks to anyone who can help... this is for the server in my sig

I did that but back when this was out it was from January 2004 until July 31st 2004 Much has advanced in scripting since then and if anyone wanted to help getting some of the newer non admin + stuff working with the old MTAMA I would appreciate it. I agree with Blokker that MTA has come a long way and I like the new version warts and all... 0.3 is fun.. .spaz is fun... I just need some help getting it scripted

I am not making any judgements about the current version Many people are looking back fondly or wondering what it is like I am just letting them know they can easily play 0.3 You don't even have to uninstall the latest version Copy your VC folder and install MTA 0.3 to that folder and you can have them both installed at the same time. You just have to reset game path when you go back to MTA 0.3

The quick fix I was talking about was removing the 100 armor or adding the -100 armor on respawn to the crusader. that would allow ppl to spawn as any character repeatedly without getting kicked.

Sorry I should have clarified 0.5 has many issues and some are easier to fix than others I was asking that you draw the line between getting everything perfect and releasing it next year or just fixing the crusader problem and releasing a quick fix In light of all the wonderful things blue will be we can settle for the same ol MTA with less bugs now... Just a thought... however it shakes out I'll still be playing

Im glad to hear it but I wish MTA would draw a line since the current version has such large sync issues and the crusader bug Then go back in the lab and make all of the changes possible to max out this core... Then on to blue... Im happy with the current version even thou it needs tweaking and I can still play 0.3 (server in sig *cough*) So work your magic and take your time but hurry up

Is syncing the crouch impossible with the current core? Most of the weapon adjustments were because of glitches that are only possible with unsynced crouching ---------------------------- Assuming that's a "wait for blue' answer I would like to see power and balance by increasing the weapons from the 0.3 model that are weaker to compensate for the strength of the Stubby and Spaz and more ammo the better I would think all of the decisions on the next version have been taken at this point since it's in testing thou
