  1. I still think that 1.0 was greatly rushed lately. There are still many crashes and some other stuff that still wasn't finished. I believe vehicle interpolation needed a rewrite for 1.0 as many players are pissed about it.
  2. The point is you're better off studying MTA:SA's source and not 0.5's as it used many highly unstable methods to operate and that is something you don't want to reproduce.
  3. Simple, find a map that you want, then download it, note that they wont be in .map directly, they'll be zipped which also includes the meta file. DM/1.0's map loading structure is different. So after you download the zip file there is no need to extract it, just place the zip in your resources folder and voila.
  4. They do work on sa-mp which frustrates sa-mp players, more cheating, no serial banning and there you go I remember I would use this CLEO flying mop on this server which I really hated to frustrate the administrators. This was a year ago though.
  5. A: Start calling arc_ erc_ Q: Does anyone miss lil_Toady?
  6. The quotes were a prank, but it's all true.
  7. Not just testing but proper research would need to be done on how on how exactly SA loads these 'sepcial' skins and how to load these skins without using SCM functions or however SA loads them..
  8. Now we need to fix a couple of mistakes MTA team made with the latest release of MTA:Race. Taken from: https://forum.multitheftauto.com/viewtop ... or#p285768 also' date=' only if you have Windows Vista: Now you should be able to load MTA:Race. (same shortcut as usual) To restore MTADM, we have to rename the folders around: And now MTA:DM will work again. All that renaming can be a pain to do everytime, so I whipped up a batch file to do it automatically. I just have to run the batch file to load Race, and it renames the folders, loads Race - then when it quits, renames the folders back so DM will work again. If you want to use it too, paste this into a blank text file: Change the paths and names in the "set" lines to match your install. They're currently set according to the examples I've given. Then save the file with the extension .bat or .cmd (either works) and run that when you want to use the map editor in race. When you close race, the command window will still be open - press any key to let the batch file rename your folders back.
  9. How about that? Also is it possible to buy weapons as you run out of ammo quite easily.
  10. If you are using DP2 then you wont see your own server in the list, connect with 127.0.0.1:22004 and to check if your ports are open try connecting with your external IP from http://www.whatismyip.com

    MTA Editor Interiors

While in the editor press F, this should show a list on the top of your screen then click: Stored game world locations. The editor comes with a great list of San Andreas Interior locations but you can also add your own interior and non-interior locations to the list.
  12. Issue #7 Page 4-5. Sorry about that Johnlime, I mean Johnline
  13. Weren't you scripting something for DP3? This was last year though.
  14. lil_Toady had already tried to look into SA Limit Adjuster's source. I believe he did not find it helpful
