Hi, can you describe the exact error message? Or the issue? And generally I don't think you would need this ping feature since you shouldn't keep the connection alive anyway and therefore don't need the ping function. Just open it to execute a series of queries, or to even execute just one. Especially when the MySQL connection is on the same server, the overhead of the connection data is very low. In PHP the connection is opened and closed every page request.

for the record ive also been spared of this discomfort and im on chrome version 24 so what other browsers could yall possibly be using? ie? opera? safari?

its true, so many forums are on outdated versions. Is there even a new phpbb and does the new version even acknowledge the new wind in web applications? fluid design/jquery/symantic html code layout I don't necessarily hate the forum software, it's just so old and out of touch I might as well be looking at Justin Timberlake

just glue them to the roof bro glue always glue or if you know about scripting yeah sure its possible lolol

No more error about libreadline.so.5 not found? Because it does say "Package readline-5.1-3.el5.i386 already installed and latest version" so it should exists. What version are you on now? CentOS 32 bit would be preferable, but it doesn't really matter because you're going to have to install dependencies anyhow. I believe that error means your libstdc is outdated. yum install libstdc yum install glibc Noob note: Not 100% sure to say it will determine the fitting version, but if it doesn't: Pro tip: Use the following to find the complete name of a package to use with yum install yum list *libstdc* Even pro-er tips are welcome, I am no expert at this.

what about yum install compat-readline5
-
Thanks Jay Those look fun, guys. And it's not much money A+ for being entrepreneurial
-
Hi, try the following: (you don't have to execute them all, just stop if one of these worked) yum install compat-readline5-static yum install readline.x86_64 yum install readline.i386

Oh I love this! Typical GTA multiplayer drama! Bravo, Senior98, you registered to post only that excellent pic to compliment this all! That was not sarcastic at all. I do enjoy a good public fight about unimportant things. But this topic should probably not exist anymore. Just accept that there is no justice, OP, and part ways. It's just a couple of guys in the entire world who hate are fans in denial of your guts. These types of internet relationships don't mean anything. The part about your parents and killing yourself was pretty mean, though.

just do what every bitter immature online gta player does... take a free trial on a botnet and commit a felony I intent only comedy, but it's sour this happened to you

No, it will definitely be an island. I was just being observant. No problem here. Carry on.

@Iron; Did you... did you copy the comment of Luke Frazier on that website and posted it here? Damn my elephant brain for remembering every detail ever

what kind of package? you mean resource? 600 mb is normal if the server uses fancy custom objects like half Liberty City or 200 car mods
-
Ah okay, you're welcome Do you mean you want to give admin permissions to a resource? Then edit the file MTA San Andreas 1.3\server\mods\deathmatch\acl.xml. Directly underneath add a line with

Is this problem fixed? It says "CRC mismatch" if there's files missing indeed. Also error if script has changed on server but not on fast dl server. If the problem still exists, please make a screenshot of the screen with the error and post it here.

I am very excited about Yiddish, because I picked up many words. Putz? That's hebrew right? Ima shelha? Cos ima shelha! Hine ani ba. The Zohan! Yes, with my infinite Yiddish wishdom I would love to contribute to this board as well but only if the moderator is super good.

Maybe my video tutorial helps. On http://serverdx.uni.me/ I do not see your files. Did you upload correctly? In FTP, upload directory "resource-cache/http-client-files" to public_html/mta. Then your mtaserver.conf must say http://serverdx.uni.me/mta.

Actually in the movie "Land of the Dead" zombies actually regain some of their abilities, such as firing guns and swimming. It's a pretty fun movie that might change your mind on wanting to remove this skill altogether. But if you must insist, yeah, sure. Like run a function every now and then that checks isElementInWater I would guess... if I had to.
-
Yeah, usually the login details are on a sticker on your router/modem

I think the problem is that MTA servers have set the weapon skill levels to the absolute minimum, because that's the default value. A low weapon skill means no moving while aiming and only single wielding some guns. Only the server staff can change this. A simple test would be to start up a new single player game, use the KJKSZPJ cheat and see if you experience the same while aiming and moving with an M4.

It's fairly easy though if you follow the guide on Portforward.com http://portforward.com/english/routers/ ... rindex.htm pick your router pick the game (MTA SA R1.0) follow the instructions, but keep in mind that by default the 2nd port should be 22005 and not 44003 as the guide says on entry 2. also entry 3 is TCP, not UDP

Hi, I answered in your topic about your server logo, aboudmad. Also Jay, it's lots of fun for me to see the signature on all your posts. Thanks for using it

Logo from the video http://dl.dropbox.com/u/48038254/RoG.psd Logo from earlier (which actually does look nicer) http://dl.dropbox.com/u/48038254/RoG_alt.psd How to? Available in Full HD on YouTube

I don't know, and I think he means the former. SQLite does support concurrency (http://www.sqlite.org/lockingv3.html), so it's technically possible to use the same database file for both servers.

In reply to the JayR's topic Hi, are you still looking for a logo? I will screen capture it while making yours, so you get a tutorial and a logo
