if you throw it at yourself nothing happenes (strange why) but if you throw it @ npc's it definitely has some effect. -

I was wondering if you (the MTA-team) have allready tested (or are planning to test) the weapons like the silenced pistol and the tear gas. In SP you have the gun in your hand so ofcourse do you hear it, but has R* programmed it you really do not hear it from a distance? (or allmost not). Becouse the npc's dont have to get those special effects since they are just special effects in a SP game. Same for the tear gas, does your vision really worsen when you get a tear nade on you? (if you threw it on yourself in SP nothing happened). those came in my mind when I was thinking about the spy infiltration gamemode I've imagined to make a long time ago. (yes the spies with night vision, heat goggles, a silenced pistol, tear gas and a knife (for stealth kill special move) wich have to infiltrate a base (other team is guard). But it would be sad if you could hear the silenced pistol shoot from all over the building and the tear gass only would create the explode sfx... I hope you will look at them in a test (or allready have).

ok just set up the server configuration file like a standard online server. then go to run (you know, START-->RUN(yes the start key in the bottom left of your screen (with windows))) and typ cmd it wil open a prompt screen and typ ipconfig it will show you your LAN ip. then other people in your network have to typ that IP in the quick connect box and congratulations, you've set up a LAN connection.

Hmm you can probably set the gamemode in the server. like in the older versions the server defined if it was a stunt or dm server.

I think it's the best to do it like it's in SP. So the driver can only shoot left or right (and in the front with a bike) and the other passengers have free aim. I think it's best to go in free aim mode when you hold down a button (like RMB) becouse somethimes you just want to sit back in the seats and dont want to shoot. (so if you dont hold rmb you will just sit like in older versions and if you press as example rmb you will hang out of the window). I prefer the 3rd person aiming view like in the last mission.

yeah we tried it in the bobcat, and that was funny becouse slipping out that will firstly raise tommy up and after that you slide out.
-
I know the interiors are somewhere high in the sky, but it's hard to find them in the editor. Does someone know the coördinates of them?
-
it's funny but, if you play MTA:SA with xfire on. it recognizes the server ip you are playing on.
-
eugh. that rapes the game... why? becouse placing seats in the back modifies the vehicles and it makes it look dumb. and about sitting in the back, the mta team promised us a good glu'ing a lloooong time ago, so you can just hop in to the back of a bobcat and crouch and you won't slip out.
-
I've had this bug a lot of times in MTA:VC and it isn't hard to get in MTA:SA, just fall from above on a spawnpoint with the vehicle nose pointing down.
-
hmm this is a gamemode and people will be able to create it themselves with the SDK I thought the MTA team meant with suggestions about the abilities in MTA itself. like the drive-by and stuff.

use the all seeing eye then, it shows more details about a server.
