It can be also 16x2048, TXD editing tools will resize the image if the image size isn't relative. This seems to be a bug, you can always report it at bug mantis, if you say it worked in previous versions.

The time will tell you everything. 1.2 and 1.3 were release due to huge bugs that occurred in 1.1 and 1.2. If I'm not wrong there were plans for 1.3.2 also. You can see everything at the bug tracker.

Please, use a valid GTA:SA directory path. It must be, by default, at 'C:/Program Files/Rockstar Games/GTA San Andreas'. After that, try deleting the file 'gta_sa.set' located at Documents/GTA San Andreas User Files' and use a 32 bits resolution (1280x960x32, which is not needed, but highly recommended). If nothing from above worked, download and run MTADiag and follow the instructions.

Problema con mta
diegofkda replied to Daniel_Suarez's topic in Ayuda relacionada al cliente/servidor

Not handbrake, but he was using accelerating/braking controls to regularize the car angle.

Default admin-panel is really okay. What other functions would you need?

Any hardware update or buying action is NOT needed. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is a 2006 game, that should perfectly in PCs/laptops that are above the 2004 era. Please, do the steps requested by Towncivilian if you want to at least give it a try. Never trust in those programs. I have bad experiences using them, though I'm not telling you to not to use those (however, it is always better to install your drivers manually).

Heh, not needed to explain that. Obviously that hand-brake isn't used. There, racers drift because of custom handling lines, and obviously, when drifting the wheel leaves a mark on the floor and generates some smoke.

Heh. GTA SA is a 2004 - 2006 game (not sure the exact year). San Andreas is old enough (that doesn't remove how awesome it is) and I don't think you'd need a gaming computer to run it if MTA is a modification only. Well, Crismar, as your PC isn't that new, it obviously will not run MTA:SA at 64 FPS, there might be a FPS average drop in these new versions, wouldn't be more than 10 FPS though if you said MTA could ran at 64 FPS. By the passing of the time your PC obviously saves cache and trash that you probably forgot to remove, so the PC starts to get slower because also its usage. Its 2012, so your OS has about 6 years of use, obviously it won't work as well as it worked in the 2008 - 2009 era. Though, there might be some programs you installed long ago that changed your driver versions, or that contained viruses you did never noticed. Well, I'd want to suggest you that if you want to play with your PC, I'd really recommend that you upgrade it, though if you want it for playing MTA only, I wouldn't recommend that you buy a new PC, but I'd recommend that you take care about it.

Well, I don't really know yet how can those maps work that well. My computer uses to freeze when I try to make a map with over 1000 objects. You can notice some objects appearing secs after they had to show in the video, well, that is because GTA:SA wasn't made for that, obviously. Why would R* mess up making a better object streamer if there aren't more than 10 objects showing up in the players screens. If you haven't a high-end computer, probably you will notice lag when you accelerate in those kind of maps. And that support is already in MTA, but that would definitely mess up the game. If it doesn't work that well without any LOD model, try to imagine with.

Adding MTA specific graphics and controller features to SP
diegofkda replied to JustExtreme's question in Client
Took 5 days to me to watch this topic, but well. There's a graphics mod called 'iCEnhanced' that makes a d3d9.dll file read a .fx file in GTA SA, with some includes. Though, I shouldn't recommend that. Well, yeah, the shaders shown in that shader examples page look good, though it doesn't reach (it might do that soon) ENBSeries graphics. If you want to them to look as MTA shaders do, you'd have to modify the enbsettings.ini file, it's not that hard to understand what does a value do. What is that about? -
I forgot to mention that I used MTA shaders & engine functions for those wallpapers, iCEnhancer is a complex stuff that I may convert to MTA later.
-
MTA has a console (F8) where you can do that chat stuff.
-
These are the wallpapers I made recently , hope you enjoy the images! (forgot to mention that I used MTA only, no mods at single-player). Wallpaper 1: Wallpaper 2: Wallpaper 3: Woovie's extra: Extra 2:

Support for .ide and .ipl files (like vehicles.ide)?
diegofkda replied to Linux_Shines's topic in Suggestions
Vehicle IDE files are different to map IDE file. IDE files support for vehicles isn't need (as you can't add new vehicle models in GTA and MTA by a simple way), vehicle data support should be supported though, but I don't see this that possible as it isn't possible even to add a new object id (which was suggested before). You can actually convert IPL files to MAP files (the maps MTA extension) using GTA Map Converter.
