  1. Making comments like that doesn't exactly get it "on par" with MTA:SA. Killing off anyone's interest would only kill development for the project.
  2. What are you talking about? MTA 0.6 is still not out, so that statement doesn't really make much sense. Definitely! Shoot me a PM on here or feel free to contact me on Skype. My apologies for the late reply. This new forum software isn't notifying me of replies anymore...
  3. Considering you keep wanting to continue the project, you sure do ****-talk it a lot.
  4. I would sure love to know what Developer you are speaking of. I've never talked to you or seen you before. You also have not posted on the project's website. It isn't really all that hard. You just keep messaging me when I'm at work, and then don't read the offline replies..
  5. 1. Project Redivivus is not the mod. Please see the above post. 2. The external and internal server browsers are broken due to the listing services being down. You'll have to manually connect via IP. 3. That is dependent on people hosting servers. Argonath RPG had their 0.5r2 server up all last week with several people playing.
  6. I'm not sure why I didn't get notified about this topic via email by the forum, but MTA:VC and Project Redivivus are not synonymous. GTA3:MTA and MTA:VC are the Multi Theft Auto mods for GTA III and GTA:VC. Project Redivivus is a sub-group working under MTA's guidance to continue the development of GTA3:MTA and MTA:VC, while the main MTA team works exclusively on MTA:SA.
  7. Because we don't want to play GTA:SA. We want to play the games we enjoy.
  8. Of course. The External Server Browser won't list servers, though...courtesy Game-Monitor's death.
  9. You need to have a legitimate, non-Steam copy of the game to use the patcher program. (The Steam version is already patched with a different version not compatible with GTA3:MTA or MTA:VC). If you pirated your game, we cannot help you here.
  10. Sorry, but where it is? I mean for VC, not SA https://forum.multitheftauto.com/viewforum.php?f=136
  11. Please create a new topic in the support section.
  12. We are all here still. It should be the same as hosting the older versions.
  13. If we can figure out how to sync other vehicles, (which would make this possible), the plan is to make them able to be scripted in, which would let you place them anywhere.
  14. Don't be afraid! P.S. Replying from work!
  15. Haha, I thought you were inactive by looking at your profiles' last seen date. Naw. Just haven't been logging in as much lately due to work, however I am subscribed to the board and most of its topics, so I try my best to keep up with them. If ever in doubt, feel free to send me a PM or email. I'll always respond as soon as I'm able.
  16. ixjf pretty much nailed it here. Also, I am not inactive!
  17. Please report it on the bug tracker. Can't find it, sorry. Anyway, my report will be here It is at the bottom of the first post...
  18. There are minimal scripting abilities right now, as this is a nightly release.
  19. We are happy to announce that a new nightly for Multi Theft Auto 0.6, (specifically made for use with Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City), has been released! While a lot of changes has been made to improve stability and add features, it is very important to note that this is still a nightly build, and not a full release version. It will contain bugs and issues, most of which are noted below alongside all known changes since the previous nightly. Many plans are still on the table, or are actively being worked on, so don't be discouraged. This nightly can be downloaded by clicking here, or by going to our Nightly Releases page located here. Before using this software, be sure to check the README file included with it for an explanation on where to place several of the files. If you discover any bugs not listed above, please report them to our bug tracker by clicking here. Have fun everyone, and stop playing with yourself!
  20. Project Redivivus was founded on August 29th, 2009 with a clear goal to continue what we all know and love. I am happy to announce that it has just reached its 6th birthday, and to celebrate, we are releasing a shiny new nightly from the Green Core code branch for you to test and enjoy! More information on this to come soon. Happy Birthday Project Redivivus!!!
  21. You just ended up on a few watch lists...
  22. The server listing is currently down in the built-in server browser due to ASE's death. The external server browser is also not working right now due to some issues with Game-Monitor that I was promised by Wojjie would have been fixed years ago. (Needless to say, they are trying to sell off Game-Monitor now, and don't appear to care about it anymore). For the time being, 0.5r2 and earlier servers will have to rely on users advertising their IP addresses. This will be fixed in 0.5.1's upcoming release, as we will be using our own server listing from that point forward.
