  3. hey kids, almost cristnas now and mta race is now almost two years old so i thought it was about time to push the limits of infernus jumping a little further and made this map http://center.mtasa.com/?p=race&r=6739 - turned out to have a far away from being perfect starting grid as i set it up way too tight - if there are more than 4 ppl online then there will be a hig possibility for ppl to miss the full length jump accross the ship lured near gant bridge. if this should happen to you here's my advice: try to get the first cp and jump diagonally to the 2nd cp so you wont land on the ship but next to it and catch the next cp later on. i will fix this. i promise. the ship is jumped 3 more times btw, i have played this one online at GTAMP.NETwith new ppl joining and making high air aprroaches a real funny expierience check out those screens, apologies for the quality i just tried to capture some ppl flying over the Ship...
  4. http://center.mtasa.com/?p=race&r=6738 it ain't a very new map but it has been an exclusive map to the GTAMP.NET Server until this day and i decided to make it public: A nifty little 16 Spawn Point DD on a Platform made of dynamic (=breakable) wood and glass parts. There are 4 holes in evey corner - cars falling down will very likely get rebound back up by the layer of 2918 sea mines half way down the distance to the water, so the platform will shrink and ppl from the platform might fall down as well (as you can see in the picture - starting vehicle is stafford and there are fbi truck, coach and packer vehicle change pickups on the way down to make the sea mine bounce work)

  6. msd, you made 2 ace maps again -i really enjoy racing them. specialist 2 has this nice noob trap right in the first corner and then the track has that special kind of flow i always desperately try to find. my favourite is unnamed circuit tho, cause im a comet lover and it is a daaaam tight track!
  7. here's a new one - note you should only click this link if you are 18 or older since the map name contains foul language. http://center.mtasa.com/?p=race&r=6680 there are 18 spawnpoints, a bottleneck downhill start approaching the tunnel bit south of SF airport and then theres a nice jump/custom turn/jump/head back uphill towards the start and back combination for 2.5 laps. Download it, feel free to add/delete anything you want and make sure to comment

  13. and another figure8 track - this time fully custom made. note that the track is almost entirely surrounded by barrels, its an 8 lap race and there is a car change in every lap. Since the map center is offline still, join the GTAMP.NET server to play it there.

  17. however, x-16, lets try to not go off-topic. San- there is a way to avoid the die-after-1st spawn-issue: simply copy a 2nd checkpoint on top of the first one and change checkpoint order...
  18. well, once you passed cp1 and die, you will spawn at cp1 again BUT if you die 1 more time before the finish, you will spawn at the start again. maybe you should add just 2 or 3 more checkpoints.
  19. this is a perfect example on how to NOT line up a starting grid - 9 cars per row on a runway is WAY too narrow dude, i am sure on a full server this map will end up in a huge clusterOOPS right at the first corner

    Nascar maps.

    aye thats a good question - i always thought NASCAR would race anti clockwise whereas AUSCAR (the aussie version of NASCAR) was running clockwise - maybe you should just rename your map
  21. i like the idea of infinity as i love figure 8 tracks and the crashing action element they have. i really and honestly do think that "destruction derby" style kind of RACES (not DDs) are a fair alternative to the common custom or stock map cp racing and or DD thing which in my opinion is running out of originality since at least half a year in general... i wish more ppl would be as cre8tive as you are.
  22. Wurst not only makes other kinds of maps, he spends a lot of time helping other mappers improve their maps. Maybe you should try them instead of just assuming something from the thread title. 60+ DD maps sounds pretty tired to me, cant YOU do something else? Well, my DD maps are pretty old ones, in last weeks i have spent my skills for Racing maps One if them is coming pretty soon! WOW - YOU rock, Spamzor ! i almost feel like i want to have your babies now ! thank you for advertising your maps in my thread btw
  23. ignoring spamzor's advise, i made 2 versions of a new map of mine - it's basically a rebuild of the LS Stadium 8-Track. I cut the race length down to 6 laps (i thought 12 laps as in single player would have been a little too long), added 32 spawns as well as 1 repair & 1 nitro pickup. the comet version can be found here whereas this is the link to the Hotring Racer version.
