yeah i know, no comparisons, not comparing...just, err, say MTA > SAMP anyway, as for players, my pc doesnt do so well with full servers (on most games) however i recently upgraded my HDD (to SATA) and added a Gig a ram, so ill lag less than i usually would personally 50-64 would do it in my opinion, i think (NOT comparing) that samps 100 players gets to be TOO much, sometimes

so i have a question, its more to deal with the custom car models rather than objects/levels, and its whether or not the custom car models are serverside or clientside, or both, because if i had (hypothetically) a lamborghini diablo sv, and joined a server, would i be able to just (inject?) put my car on the server so everyone sees it? or would i be restricted to the models that are serverside, and can only use what the server offers?

yaknow its sorta offtopic but we just had a new picture of the day and a new update to main site, while samp hasnt seen a update (of any kind) since april 11 or so, (so what im trying to say) that means MTA wins the war of the mods, and when the calm before the storm ends, and we leave the "eye" of this hurricane, samp will be the first to fall! under the MTA wraith! muahahahahha! awesome

Woot its spectacular! your work pleases me more every day im so glad you guys are working with ParoXum on this, he knows modding his maps this will truley be one of the finishing touches to MTA DM to make it stand out 350% more than old dusty SAMP ever could, you guys are the best! im keeping my fingers crossed for 50+ (64 would be nice) because its not samp overfilled server style, and its not mta race 32 player style, its in between in that sweet spot

Heh, You sound like a president trying to get elected. hehe yeah sure if you say, i think i sound like a MTA lover who wants to elope with the source code and about MTA .5.1 not coming out, this is a totally different story, back then they were on a different platform and now they have something they can really work with, BLUE so its more likely they wouldnt give something like that up so easily

well i have ALOT of maps now (not over 500 dont think) but i am currently working hard on a different project of mine, however keep the maps coming if anyone thinks they have a good one as for the servers popularity, as of now its offline so i guess zero when its running it has 3-10 players tho, its a 16 player server

id say we cant just take guesses and get our hopes up, lets let the MTA team work, and when they are done, those who acctually stuck around like us, will be Ohhhh so grateful when its here and we can delete sa-mp from our pcs without doubt we will never need it again, and we can rejoice in the beauty and power that is MTA DM so basically i see all the time that they have spent on this and the incredibly long wait as a de-n00berizer, now all those lame mofos who said "omg0dz0rz if i wait 1'z morz dayz mees outta here!" are acctually gone doing something else, and the true fans and players are here to enjoy the final product

im sticking with my xp till im literaly forced to vista out of my need to play crysis and other dx10 games, until then ill be just fine without and magical flipping windows and osx tiger knockoff stuff on my pc, oh i by the way XP only cost 100 dollars on some site now, its going down in price, so i dunno where u got 300 even as an estimate

well zion, it depends on ur previous admin experience, and it depends how much i like u if u send me a big map pack i can guarantee atleast level 2 but anyway, we will have to play on the server and ensure u arent a cheater or a mingebag or a ar'tard, or any combination of the three, then basically if u stick around and DONT BEG like some ppl do, then yah

my server was up the other day, it will be needing admins yes, currently we have 3, so were not hurtin for em, but maybe i could arrange a promotion for a heavy donator of maps lol

yah i dont want vista in its buggy condition, luckily i recently bought a new copy of xp, so im good, and not to mention i have "another" copy of xp (using now) (yeah i dont no why i havnt installed new one) so im pretty much not gettin vista for a while

well ill tell ya i get that alot, ill be able to hear the police radio as well as car radios, but my sound effects (horns tire screetch or anything) all are completely silent, i deal with it by restarting MTA, and im sure the problem is to do with SA itself, because SAMP and single player do it as well, so if anyone knows a permanent fix it would be great

alright, thanks! and yeah the MTA center is like a snail on dope its so slow, it sucks i almost cry when my firefox browser says my page took 150 seconds to load
