Have you been reading the replies? Try Ravenheart's suggestion. It doesn't have to do with your computer, it's San Andreas.
-
Loosing interest? Read the latest update. It's ninja-fresh.

They're called the Devs, friend. I wasn't aware they answered to you. Says who? Most of those that left during the development process will return for the release. See above. Nobody played San Andreas for the cutting edge graphics or the amazing realism and audio. A truly "great" game is immortal. How? The "eventual finished project" can only get better if more time is allotted for development. Patience, grasshopper.

Public betas were discussed in the past. I didn't hear if anything was decided, I doubt it. Whatever. When MTA releases, I'll be here for it.
-
That sounds like it would cost money, something which most people don't associate with games that are freely produced.

Just wanted to let u know, there are several images hidden in gta3 which accords to an unfinished multiplayer function taken out by rockstar itself, thats why people talking about multiplayer in GTA4. And about MTA, i think it will be good, maybe it takes a bit long to be finished but it's better to have a quality modification, and get pissed of about the release date, than getting pissed of lot of bugs what havn't been fixed by the devs.. And about those guys out the community, i really got to say that, u need a girlfriend or fresh air too, or just learn programming, and u'll see that, it's ain't that easy n fast what u think... Multiplayer is a big "DUH!" in GTA4. They didn't develop it in LCS and VCS just to let it rot (yeah, different game engine, blah blah blah, but the general concept). GTA4, however, doesn't strike me as an MMO, so I don't think MTA has anything to worry about. If you wanted to make an MMO title, wouldn't you put "Online" in the title rather than sticking a number?

In all likelihood, it is very possible, but nobody can say anything for sure. We just don't know.
-
^^ LOL Chill out, guys. It's only a game. Go outside and get some fresh air. Nobody forces you to stay here.
-
What problems are you referring to? Race works fine for me and several others.
-
Race was a fine product. Your personal experiences do not reflect the views of the rest of the community, Ravenheart.
-
Yes, yes. We know. We love the devs, we're just impatient fools sometimes
-
No, the beta stage will take a way less I love you.
-
Do the beta stages generally take as long as the alpha stage?
-
gta3.img? I don't think you're allowed to mod your installation of San Andreas at all if you use MTA.
-
Aw, you guys are making me depressed.
-
Heh, nice. Anyway, great job as always. Better text displays is something I've been wishing for MTA to announce for a long time. Thank you!

Everybody that wants to end frozen applications without restarting their computers does. As has already been said, it isn't about the trainers, it's about keeping people from pausing. In some other multiplayer mods, it is possible to Alt-Tab out, and some people stay frozen in place for several minutes before being disconnected. It certainly makes it harder to tell who is health hacking and who is just paused. I can see it either way.

I'm getting hungry for another non-tutorial blog update =D /me runs to homeless shelter for food
-
You don't hear well. There was already a topic about this.
-
DM is will be out before XP support is gone. If you want to play Race so badly, dual boot Vista and XP. This isn't really a big deal.
-
How many people would go back and do all that just to get back on the server? I know quite a few. Oli made a post on the Dev Blog before the site update talking about the ban system. From what he said, it sounds like it should be quite sufficient. Perhaps you could make a multiplayer mod that bans by CPU.
-
I don't think any of us is in a position to say what has to be added. I'm a server admin; I deal with cheaters everyday. I personally enjoy wasting a cheater's time by banning them until they give up. You can ban by DNA nucleotide sequence: it doesn't matter. It WILL be spoofed, and it WILL be circumvented. Don't want cheaters? Turn off your server. There is no foolproof method of banning.
-
It's your own damn fault if you're using Vista and Race doesn't work. You should have checked before you installed. That's what you get for being a first adopter. DM works fine in Vista. Please don't make the devs go back and release a patch for race. I'll kill you.

Some talk of a public beta went on a while back, but nothing has been announced yet. Don't get your hopes up.
