Ok well we managed it on our site but im not happy with it really as i think anyone can get into the resource browser and start tampering.

Hey all, I needs some help here. I am trying to edit the headshot script so when a player gets a headshot it shows a caption saying "Headshot!!" in the middle of the screen in biggish writing. Now being i know sod all about scripting i was wondering if you could give me some pointers please Thanks.

Indeed you could. But until i know how to do this ACL thing then its gonna have to be like that. I have changed the 'jail' 'free' to something most people wouldn't think about so i think its safe for now.

We got round it by adding:- admin = getClientName(thePlayer) if (admin == "name") or (admin == "name") then if (theNoob) then So that it only works for certain people. Ive no idea how to do acl stuff and i have no idea how to do anything about people doin /kil lol

Hey, Thanks for sharing this. It works well other than 2 problems. You put you have to type to release a player;- /free name But that doesn't work. Only /unjail name works. 2nd it appears everyone who is not an admin can use this. Apart from that, great work

If your gonna release DP3 the time is now. This place has died a death pretty damn quickly recently.

Yep, 2 months nearly since DP2 and no word of DP3 yet Any news guys?

I still think the reason its dead is because the disconnection issue. We get loads of players every hour trying to join then just timing out. Even our own members time out. See it on loads of other servers as well so i don't think its anything to do with the gamemodes.

There is a huge reason no one seems to play this mod. The time out issues. More than half of my members gave up with this mod after a few days and went back to race or sa-mp. Every 2 mins someone joins our server then times out while they download the resources. Imo this needs fixed quick smart. It's been weeks now since the release of DP2. Surely you could release DP2.5 with the downloading resources part fixed rather than have people paying for servers that stay empty because of this problem?

It's not just to do with a banned serial. I own a server and get it when joining if i boot into Vista and try to connect. I registered deathmatch in XP. I must admit it is bloody annoying

Thanks for this. Ive put it on my server but it seems like the bombs are not synced as i cant kill anyone with them nor can anyone see them when i drop them.

Hmmmmmm Ok now i wasnt doing /stick name 0.0.0 I thought it would be a simple case of just either jumping on the players car or just with your script typing /stick.

Doesn't work. Debugged it and get errors on line 4 and 10.

Hey all, Been in a few servers recently and noticed that you can 'stick' to peoples vehicles yet in my server they all just fall off. How do i go about doing this as it is very cool on planes Cheers.
