  1. hehe nah offcourse not (my maps are still there too ;] ), but a serverside option to disable certain weapon(-types) would be cool =)

  3. by my experiences with the race-mod that means we can look forward to see ALOT of maps with rocketlaunchers played on public servers... =) dont get me wrong, the idea to let the mapcreator specify which weapons can be used in the map is a good idea. but with those kiddos on the servers there should be a option to turn some weapons off for the admins too.

  6. @Ransom well it may be ment to be that way but it looks not so good: the first tunnel has no archway infront of it so the walls of the tunnels look thinny, same goes for following tunnels, they have nothing under them so they look like they have "paper-thin" floor. basically you can see too much areas you "shouldnt" see, there are much worse maps around i just recalled that as example because it was the first map that came into my mind. (maybe unaligned is not even the right word here, its more visual flaws)
  7. i think the mta team announced here somewhere that respawning is not possible yet however planned for a upcoming version.
  8. everything looks well aligned at a first glance, thats a big plus in my opinion. not like other maps floating around (*cough*blow the dam *cough*) ^^
  9. it looks nice, what are you planning with it? deathmatch or a race? i would second everything what blaze said, its hard as ass to align all those roads n crap in a good-lookin way, so good luck =)
  10. that wus on purpose to create actual laps hehe edit: lol, now i had the chance to play my map online and ofcourse half of the peeps turned around and drove into the gap behind start like suicidal lemmings ^^ the others had fun though, maybbe ima change those checkpoints a bit, ill wait and see a bit hehe

  12. it also happens when a player lags out and gets kicked out of sa, theyre no longer on the server but theyre still displayed then (and their health-bar doesnt move).

  14. Hiyas, i just finished my first "custom" Racetrack and would love to see some Feedback on it. "Skyroad" is a Roundcourse set in the Clouds near Los Santos Beach. The Idea for this Track comes from the very old DOS-Game "Skyroads" (hence the Name of my Track^^). Its basically a traditional Raceway envolving some minor Jumps, the Lenth is 3 Laps at the Moment. I had no Chance to test this Map with other Players yet, but i guess with 30+ Peeps it could cause some "Falling-Down-Trouble"^^ Two Hints: 1. The Jumps are easy if you know when to Accelerate and when to release the Button. 2. The Nitros are nice, but they arent ment to be used instantly, you dont need any Nitro at all to finish the Race.   15. yeah well said =) i somehow doubt though that the majority of the players would follow them, im allready happy when a non-deathmatch map has been voted =p
  16. actually i would categorize both as dm-maps, allthough hydra-races should be no dm (freeroam on the other hand has not any other goal other then killing or well..."freeroaming"). it also was just a idea but improved is such a system the easiest and fastest way to categorize maps.
  17. an easy way of sorting out could be like: all maps without any checkpoints -> deathmatch-maps all maps with starting vehicles with guns -> deathmatch-maps all maps not matching properties named above -> racing maps i like that sorting-idea, sometimes its hard to guess what a map is all about by just the name =)
  18. how about a big poll "whats your favourite mode?" or something? id vote for racing maps ^^ and racing maps with many players allways cause problems because the checkpoints are just too small for 32 ppl to race through =p
