THIS HAS BEEN DISCUSSED BEFORE yes it IS possible but NO we wont do it (for now, dont know the future).. to get the current mta to run on xbox.. you cant, you need windows, unmodified nt kernel v5.0 or greater. to make it work on xbox you have to change the entire mod to match the memory addresses on gtavc for xbox. its not as easy as just dropping a few files in, its starting over from scratch.

i dont like merging partitions....... if i ever want to i would move all the stuff from partition two to partition one and then delete partition two and extend partition one. much less complicated for me. also, be careful w/ partition magic. some poeple i know has had bad luck with it. and once, when i was resizing a partition, xp froze... (cuz of my gay raid that eventually killed my dual p3 mobo i was sad) and i lost a few gigs of data.......... thats y you should BACKUP! atleast the small files like pictures

he wants to PLAY, not HOST. to PLAY any game you don't have to forward ports. actually, you shouldnt. there is no need to and it wont do ANYTHING. if it DOES do something, your router blows, because mine (linksys/dlink/linux) dont do gay stuff like have adverse effects on game play. forwarding ports wont fix his ping timeout errors.............

this reminds me of a thread in another forum w/ a dumbass trying to defend consoles LOL! that always makes me laugh. anyways, it takes alot of time and work to make any type of mod (is it even possible) for the ps2. i doubt there will b mta for ps2 (for atleast a few years..) just my thought

what cpu do u have? if its a celeron, your screwed. celerons are SLOW. a 2.8 celeron was performing worse than my dual 866 MHz p3....

no, i said iptables2. i use iptables (or use to with floppyfw) to forward ports, but i heard somewhere that iptables2 supports shaping, dont know if thats a fact or not. and before i didnt plan on using another distro, but since freesco is much much better than floppyfw, others might be even better, so ill give them a try later on

yes, the isp i work for will be providing me with wireless i tried freesco but r_shaping kept freezing linux when upload was intense for prolonged periods of time, so i turned that off. ill give ASL and coyote a shot, tho ive never heard of either of them before
