  11. I forgot to update MTA:SA 1.3's patch URL from unstable to rc in MTADiag 1.3, resulting in some users mistakenly running the unstable build of MTA. If you have used MTADiag 1.3, please install the latest 1.3 rc version of MTA:SA. I've corrected this issue along with another minor glitch and uploaded MTADiag 1.4 to the file archive. EDIT: I added a list of running processes at the time of the log generation to the program. This will help detect whether a program is potentially causing problems with MTA's hooking system (as might be the case with the recent issues with single player launching instead of MTA:SA). Version incremented to 1.5.
  12. Please try installing this version of MTA:SA - MTADiag was installing the unstable build as an error on my part.

  21. MTA 0.5.x's code is not fit for open-sourcing in its current state. I've done a considerable amount of work in cleaning it up recently (deobfuscation) but it still is a mess structure wise and there are issues with the client when compiled with VS2008. If it were ever open-sourced, it'd likely be somewhat of a rewrite; it'd maintain the core gameplay of MTA 0.5r2, but with all of the surrounding code (client/server, gta interface & hooks, etc) rewritten to allow open-sourcing, primarily for historical purposes and to illustrate how the mod works compared to the more modern multiplayer implementations.
