derhitman Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 i play a game call enemy territory on some of the servers when u shoot a friendly your health goes down and his stay normal maybe this would be a nice anti team kill program on rpg based mta
Leviathan Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 I hate team kill punishments. becouse the only TK I got is if they walk in my fire...
orappa Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 Yeah, sometimes you can fire a rocket at a teammate to blast them to safety if friendly fire is disabled, which can be useful at times.
{FKU}Warfire Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 lmfao... i know who this kinda thing would be perfect for... /me pokes wolven
orappa Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 I remember in Tribes 2 when you'd have to queue to use an inventory station or the vehicle pad. I'd get out my plasma gun and fire into the middle of everyone, blast them out of the way and get to the front of the queue I only tended to do that on a LAN though, as I preferred doing it to people that I knew.
Ransom Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Indeed Jon, it would me annoying when jerks get in front of you (even though you are probably a jerk too).
orappa Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Indeed Jon, it would me annoying when jerks get in front of you (even though you are probably a jerk too). That's correct
Jigga Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 mm i always hate when n00bs walk into my crosshair when im in combat, but yes, if there should be an anti tk system it should slap u with the ammount of hp uve taken from ur ally.
{VCS}TheDude Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 No way. If some n00b is kill stealing, I want to frag that f****r
derhitman Posted July 6, 2005 Author Posted July 6, 2005 No way. If some n00b is kill stealing, I want to frag that f****r {VCS}TheDude we are talking about teamplay here not solo deathmatch
njr1489 Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 No way. If some n00b is kill stealing, I want to frag that f****r {VCS}TheDude we are talking about teamplay here not solo deathmatch He must have meant if some noob on your team is getting in your way and stealing your kill.
derhitman Posted July 7, 2005 Author Posted July 7, 2005 but if u play in a team it isnt kill stealing but teamplaying taking down the enemy together
derhitman Posted July 7, 2005 Author Posted July 7, 2005 no hehe :Pbut i play america's army , anarchy online , diablo 1 , 2 , expansion. , enemy territory , mta:VC (but lost cd now:() , BF vietnam , and eehmm,,, thats about it i've played online
Leviathan Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 yeah, I play AA too and I'm just a n00b, I'm playing it for a month now or something and I'm not good at nading, so somethimes I accidentally nade a friend and your score goes down a lot.. and you won't score the next rounds. That's bad luck becouse after a TK I got a lucky round and owned the whole game on my own, and didn't recieve any points from it...
Jigga Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 I play CSS and i really dont like when some auto snipe n00b steal my frags but i like when an auto snipe n00b saves my life just before im about to be pwned. Anyway, if tk's have too be punished there should be a system that counts how long u were aiming before u shooted so we know it was accident or on purpose
derhitman Posted July 7, 2005 Author Posted July 7, 2005 how wil u make that on a game where u aim with a mouse and not auto lock targets?
Leviathan Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 Hey, I just played the Battlefield2 demo and when you got teamkilled you have two options: Forgive the player or not. So if it is an accident you can forgive him. and if it isn't you don't.
derhitman Posted July 8, 2005 Author Posted July 8, 2005 i know how that works on other games but some anoying ppls keep giving "blame the person" just when they die as an accident
orappa Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 i know how that works on other games but some anoying ppls keep giving "blame the person" just when they die as an accident Some people don't though. I think that's a better idea than automatically punishing or forgiving them because it often depends on the situation.
Leviathan Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 I played battlefield2 for the 1st time online today and I spawned in a complete chaos and then I got teamkilled and I even didn't saw what happened. So I couldn't judge so I forgave him. Not all people will do and like to blame others but there are still players who will forgive.
Jigga Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 it's the same in css with admin plugins, i always forgive if some1 killed me if i had 20hp or less, but if i have 100 hp and my fav m4 and some n00b tk's me ill never forgive
