Fayte
My guess is that connecting through the dll rather than mIRC is going to make it lag even more... Link to comment
Oli
I doubt that. If you put ALL the connection stuff into a dll and then just called that routine it would really improve things...esp the admin+ side. Link to comment
orappa
Oh... I got the impression from what Aeron said ages ago that MTAMA 4 would be standalone and independent from mIRC. I may have misunderstood though. Link to comment
Oli
well the whole point of MTA:mA is to be scriptable. Unless he is going to put in his own scripting language in c++, which given he isnt experienced in c++ that prob wont happen. Id assume itll be similar just all the connection stuff and most of the contents of mta.mrc and mta.dll atm would be in a new c++ dll. Just a guess though.. who knows what really goes through that head of his Link to comment
orappa
http://forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?t=11870 It was a draw between C++ and mIRC. Link to comment
Oli
I dont see how making a tool in c++ could be "scriptable" unless he released the source.. That and being called MTA:mA would be silly Link to comment
