Guest Posted April 3, 2005 Share Posted April 3, 2005 aye. i dont know what is wrong. im on a network and i tried to set up the pc connected to the modem as the server. and it looked like everything was ok, but when i try to connect to it from my wireless pc it says the gamemode is invalid..wtf? and other people just cant join at all. i hate networks. gah! help me please. im retarded with this kinda stuff, literally. Quig Posted April 3, 2005 Share Posted April 3, 2005 u have the wong gamemode set on ur server just go into your mtaserver config file and choose either VC DM, VC stunt, or GTA3 which ever one u need and then start it Link to comment

MTA Team Blokker_1999 Posted April 4, 2005 MTA Team Share Posted April 4, 2005 You don't choose a gamemode in the client ... - Can you connect from the PC that is running the server? - Did you by any chance select stunt and GTA3? - Does your ISP allow servers (on port 2003)? or does your modem contain a router/firewall?
