yes i did read the whole thread, and i just said that i thought he meant to say that, which he may have done. after all, i certainly to dont think that mta has not progressed from 0.4.1 to 0.5 al all, and has got worse - there are lots of new things. thats why jacob said 'two steps forward' and one step back (if WASNT a typo).

I'm a frequent victim of this (I use the word victim loosely, as normally I can be seen but not see, and therefore undamagable). So far this happened to me playing against Gamefreek, Po0kie and a few others. It seems to start with a desync in cars after I die or someone else dies, sometimes for a while, sometimes until I restart the game.
