Guest
I was playing mta , then it freezed , ok , then I restarted the game , and could not play it anymore . The game keeps freezing , than i press a keyboard key and it unfreeze , its really weird. Can't play games like Battlefield , GBA/N64 Emulators , they all got the same problem too. REALLY NEED HELP , PLEASE (I can still play HL2 and other few games , thats pretty strange) Link to comment
Scorp
Try updating video drivers to the latest version. Most likely you have a ATI card or an nVidia card. nVidia drivers: http://www.nvidia.com ATI drivers: http://www.ati.com updating should solve the issues, though I've never had MTA messing with any of my video options. JacoB
Is it literally freezing or is the game encountering an unhandled exception? And what exactly happens on other games? And how long have you been playing MTA? Did this happen all the sudden? Answer those questions, it makes helping you easier Link to comment
Guest
It freezs , then unfreeze after +-2 seconds , and If I press a keyboard key it unfreezes automaticaly. But the freezing just DO NOT STOP , sadlkadjalskjd , +-5 sec intervals It happens with some other games like Battlefield ,GTA and BATTLEFIELD should have something in common , well , and I don't know what . Hl2 works perfectly. I played 10 minutes , then suddenly ... PLOFT. It was a long time ago , like 6 months , updated the drivers and etc Link to comment
MTA Team Blokker_1999 Posted January 22, 2005 MTA Team Share Posted January 22, 2005 If it has happend before and it happens to other games then it is not related to MTA Link to comment
Guest
no , It never happened before , it started after the first freeze while I was playing mta Link to comment
Slothman
not only should you update or reinstall your video drivers, have a look at your running processes in task manager. spyware and adware cause all sorts of random troubles. if nothing works, try a system resoter back to the day before this started. just cause mta was the first crash, doesnt make it the cause. XcR
try your sound drivers, this can cause a problem. Link to comment

XcR
usually when the video card isnt powerful enough, it displays a notice "Vice city cannot be played - insufficent gfx memory" or something of the sort. Link to comment
[FKU]X
i think that one of his PC components is just not powerfull to run VC, oh , he could just try turning down resolution, lowest one I think is 640Xsomn and at 16 bit. Link to comment
