Guest Posted December 23, 2004 Share Posted December 23, 2004 I am an idot who don't no anything about servers. I ran the server configuration tool fo gta:vc mta 4.1. But when i clicked on the dos program it made, it popped up and vanished! I have been trying to figure out how to do servers and network 2 computers together, but to no avail! Can anyone give a lesson or 2!! Link to comment

Can anyone give a lesson or 2!! usually the tool requires you too rename the MTAServer.exe to 'MTAserver0.4.exe' or it was the other way around, another good server config is the one built into MTA:mA, there you can use the default name for the server exe. orappa Posted December 24, 2004 Share Posted December 24, 2004 It's easy enough to edit the mtaserver.conf file (located in C:\Program Files\Multi Theft Auto\Server by default). Just open it in Notepad and there are comments within the file that tell you what can be changed. Link to comment
