Modifying Handling

I am a new MTA user, but an old gta messer. I like to play with an edited handling file. If i am plaing only on my own lan and not on an online server, will it let me play with modified handling files?

Also, is htere a way to disable the anti cheat on a server?

Please dont ban me, i am not trying to find exploits in the server, i am just wondering if i can use mta in this way.

Unfortunately you cannot play with any kind of modded game currently.

Personally I think this is probably the biggest problem with MTA and i don't understand why there's no option to disable the anti-cheat facility.

I'd love to be able to play multi-player with some of the modded vehicles and maps out there. Particularly my very own Cheesy Wedge Of Doom (plug, plug... )

The good news however is that playing with mods will be possible in the upcoming 'Blue' version. There's plenty of info about that around the site.

Yes, cheats are disabled. As previously said, the upcoming release of "blue" will allow you to mod the game as much as you wish (we hope), as long as everyone you play with plays with the same settings.

MTA will work seamlessly you wont need a mod manager... all files will be loaded on demand as they are needed.

I think this has been resolved. You aren't able to mod MTA in its current form, with the future release of the blue core, you will be able to.
