Guest Posted November 1, 2004 Share Posted November 1, 2004 after about 10 minutes, if that, the game wants to freeze. this is a very bad freezing because it freezes my whole computer but the music from the game continues to play. control + alt + delete or alt+tab or escape does not work, i am forced to turn off my comp. please help me some1 im desperate, lmao Link to comment
erorr404 Posted November 1, 2004 Share Posted November 1, 2004 does this happen in single player too, or only with MTA? you need to give a lot more details (computer specs for instance). the most obvious things i can think of is either a) bad install of GTA, or b) hardware problem (overheating maybe?). Guest Posted November 1, 2004 Share Posted November 1, 2004 the single player game did freee once but i am able to get out of the single player freezes, this does not happen all of the time i an play it for hours and nothing wrong (single). as for my specs... dell inspiron 2600 laptop with 384 ram 1.5 GHZ with intel extreme graphics ive never had a overheating problem that i can think of. Gtatari Posted November 1, 2004 Share Posted November 1, 2004 my favorite escape method: START>R (hold windows key and tap R) then type C-M-D and press enter (you wont see anything, try not to make typos) then press ALT+ENTER and youll should go to full screen MSDOS, simply hit ALT-ENTER again to see the desktop. mta freezes for most of us =( Link to comment
