Google is very bad lol :D

I think MTA in german is not a bad idea

I've translated the american.gxt and some strings from mtaclient before but now i want to make a german version of blue, too.

My idea is when you set in Vice City the language to english then MTA is in english, adn when it's set to german MTA is german :P

Considers this :)

Yeah, a multi-language site and client would be nice. Some stats from the latest issue of PC Zone:

Top 10 Countries Playing MTA (week ending 7th September 2004)

USA - 84,428 (player hours x 1000)

Russian Fed. - 5,450

Great Britain - 2,406

Finland - 2,356

China - 2,350

Sweden - 1,522

Ukraine - 532

New Zealand - 408

Czech Republic - 376

Germany - 316

That's a difference of 84,112,000 player hours between America and Germany.

December 2004 (the one with the HL2 review). It's only a small bit in the online section. It's under the StatZone box on p.104.

Oh, and speaking of PC Zone, you may remember this topic:

I recently found out that they did include MTA on the CD in the May (I think) issue, only I didn't notice because I don't use the CDs and only checked the "On the Disks" section of the mag, where it wasn't mentioned.

ps: Can I have the link to this List? :P

Well, it was printed in a magazine, but the stats came from http://www.csports.net

Unfortunately I can't give you a link because their site uses loads of Javascript and you can't link to any pages. But if you browse around you should find it (btw, they list it as "Grand Theft Auto" rather than MTA). At the time of writing, the site's down for emergency maintenence, but it should be back up in a couple of hours.

Edit: I tell a lie - you can link to pages by clicking the "Add to Favourites" link in the corner of the page (it didn't work last time I tried):
