Guest Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 OK, When I open ASE, select a server and join it ( which is the right version) its tells me cannot specify version defaulting to 1.0, why does it do that, so i try to play and GTA VC has encountered an unknown error I have just installed it, no mods or patches or crakz. i have done everything correctly Can somebody please help me ?????????

However if u've not updated ur anythin leave the box at 1.0 still not workin? i suggest u try and update the exe to 1.1 and see if that works here's a link to the VC patch site Vice City patch also plp have been having problems with foreign VC installs in the past, if ur running the english one there sudn't be any problems

Guest Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 i tried to install vc 1.1, but wen i opened it, it said it doesnt kno wich version i hav, and aborts updating it !!!! SO GAY !!!! I HATE THIS COMPLICATED STUFF IM NO GOOD AT IT do you kno why it doesnt let me install 1.1 ?
Dgtadude Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 Dude .. all its saying is "We cannot figure out your corrent game version , please set it your selfe manually" whats so hard bout that ? Edit : It wont let u install 1.1 cause u probably have a cracked exe or damaged or moddified one
