Luigi Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Well i made it somehow and im using a switch. I was playing with my bro on lan when someone joined from the internet i dont know how tho .
[TF]>< Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 Well, this shouldn't be too hard to do depending on how you have it setup.. How is your LAN configured? This is how I would do it, instead of having your internet going to your hub and then splitting to the LAN, put 2 network cards in one of the PCs, one card hooked to your cablemodem or whatever, and the other card hooked to the hub to provide for the network.. Then you can setup the MTA server on the PC that is hooked to the internet, people can join as normal to your External IP, and on the lan they can join using your network IP Hope this makes sense for you
darkdreamingdan Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 maybe ur telling ppl to join ur internal ip...
