Slothman Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 they are rebuilding mta from the ground up, totally new code, and that is what the new core will be
DominionSpy Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 Core in the general sense means the centre or unchanging part of something. In the case of MTA it refers to some code which does all the 'dirty work' which is used to build on top of to create the versions that are released. MTA 0.4 uses the same core as MTA:VC 0.3.
orappa Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 I think one of the devs once defined the core as the code that interfaces directly with GTA.
Moderators HAZJ Posted August 4, 2004 Moderators Posted August 4, 2004 MB definition it`s the correct. Core = the technology where mta is build on
eAi Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 We define the core as essentially everything that isn't game-mode related. Obviously the line between the non-game mode stuff and game-mode stuff isn't that easy to define sometimes, but thats what we mean by "core". eAi
Guest Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 With the new core will the game be more stable? I mean like less laggy, not as many crashes. If not what exactly will the new core make different?
Guest Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 Whens the new core gonna be out? I can't wait...The teaser shows boats!
