Guest Posted July 27, 2004 Share Posted July 27, 2004 You should implement voice chat meaning being able to talk to people with your mic...If you have ever played CS (Counter-Strike), you'll definitely know what I am talking about. This would probably be a pretty big feature and hard to implement but it would make MTA that much better. Let me know what you people think. Link to comment

Economic theory dicatates that a person who specialises in his craft will be a lot better at it than someone who does a bit of everything. Therefore, because the Roger Wilco or Teamspeak team don't have anything other than their programs to work on, they would be heaps better. However, as always, the floor is open to you to make your own multiplayer mod with voice chat. Edit: Hmm I guess I should have searched...But it looks like the MTA team isn't that skilled...Oh well. It isnt as hard as you make it sound like, anyways the team has turned down this idea (for now) simply because it isnt a needed addition,,we have programs like ts and rw that can do that for us so why uses development time to build something completly unnecassary when they could be using that time removing the crashes,working on better netcode etcetc. and you say the mta team isnt skilled, look whos talking i would like to see your multiplayer mod before you start talking , with voicechat of course. The team does this on their free time and won't even ask for donations. They do this purely because they want to, and they want us to have a good experience in GTA with multiplayer. Now, saying the devs are fucking stupid and unskilled because they don't want to add voice chat? Why don't you do it yourself and create a multiplayer mod with voice. I bet you $1,000,000 that most of these faggots that say "MTA sucks, my fucking dog could code better than this" probably don't have the first clue what to look for, what team members to get, and what skills you would need to know.
