aintaro Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) Hello guys, I'm trying to see what the max speed of a vehicle is, but most of the vehicle maxvelocity is not right, for example it would print out 160, but the max speed of the vehicle is 115 kph. Found out why : Notes on Top Speed It is interesting that the vehicle does not always achieve the TopSpeed value of 180km/h, which becomes 214km/h in the game. When the Acceleration is too small relative to the Drag setting, the vehicle will not reach its TopSpeed setting. This means that the TopSpeed setting is simply a limit to the speed of the vehicle. Your vehicle might never actually reach this speed. Edited May 12, 2014 by Guest

Arnold-1 Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 ah, i didn't know you that you're trying to edit the speed.
50p Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 The problem is inside GTA:SA engine. You can see that driving in town will never let you drive at full speed but when you take your vehicle on the highway (like the one around Las Venturas) then you can go pretty fast. Take an Infernus and drive in town, then take it to the highway, see the large speed difference.
